Julie Ponder was a licensed family therapist in CA, but this happened in Colorado. The crazy bitch Ponder was my counselor at a 2 year school called "The Cascade School." She creeped me out and I never let her near me. No wonder... She killed this girl a few years after I knew her. If you want to see these techniques drawn out over 2 years at "therapeutic boarding school" - look for CEDU on YouTube. Hold on tightly.
It's nice that you did this video and I personally agree with your view on rebirthing.However,you should know that reactive attachment disorder DOES exist and it's a VERY serious disorder that comes from severe abuse etc.Those two "therapists" that did this to this child were unlicensed-therefore they had no f-ing idea what they were doing.Rebirthing as a therapy is very controversial and it is NOT practiced by therapists who know how to actually do their job.
This is how therapy gets a bad name. We NEED to be practicing empirically supported treatment! Stand up for your right for treatment that does not endanger our lives!
