The underwear gag is a gimmick and he obviously has a plant in the audience that suggests underwear (or it's probably a common enough request, he wouldn't need a plant) The Jokes were too practiced and timed to be off the cuff. The others are just epic sleights. I don't feel bad revealing the underwear thing, because it is a $10 gimmick.
