In the recent seasons, all he does is go out of frame during final tribal council and comes back into frame during the reunion show. Sigh, another example of how Survivor has changed (and not really for the better)

Also, Rob and Amber had previously competed on Survivor: Outback as well. Why didn't he propose to her then? The only way anyone could have known for certain the proposal was real would be had one of them already been eliminated before the finale, and Rob still planned on proposing.
@Rawk4Life he proposed at the live show which is 3 months or even longer after the final tribal council. so after they finished filming survivor they probably dated during this time and got to know eachother better!
Thanks for not calling me an idiot lol. I just realized that the guy I was thinking of was Caleb, not Boston Rob. So, Rob did not compete on the same Survivor as Amber. I understand what you said, but it just seems so ironic that he'd wait until the final council to propose to her since she was the one he was up against for the $1 million.
I'm still skeptical of this. Why would Rob wait until the season finale to propose to Amber, and when the final two are down to just them? That makes it look very suspicious that it could have been rigged to where many thought "Rob wanted a chunk of the money even had he lost, so he proposed to Amber in hopes that she'd be sharing half of the prize money with him." The fact that he said "I am a winner either way" doesn't help the situation either.

I just wanna say that Boston Rob got to this final two by playing pretty much the EXACT same way that Russell played to get the final three. So they were both equally as good. But neither of them didn't win the title of sole survivor and I guarantee you Russell won't win the title if he makes it there again.
@Xedome Have you watched the show? He's REALLY smart! He got himself and Amber to the finals by winning pretty much all of the challenges (mental and physical - he's great at puzzles!) and manipulating the other castaways. He has a bachelor in psychology. He dominates in every way.

@blackmerc96 Russell did get helped by the fact that Jerri's the type of person who doesn't play around when it comes to getting revenge...Colby was responsible for her leaving in Outback, so first chance she gets, she teams up with Lex & Kathy to vote him off...then Rob convinces Lex to keep Amber over her, and in HvV, she joins Russell once she realizes that he wants Rob out ♥♥
Point Being. It doesn't help that Rob made an Alliance with a Bunch of Idiots. And he shouldn't have Crossed Russell, it doesn't help that he had to go against one of the eat Survivor Players of All Tine.
I love Rob, but I've been rooting for Russell since Day 1. And if you want someone to blame, blame Courtney, Sandra, Tyson, and Coach. If Courntey and Sandra would have played good during the Challenge, they would've won and and Rob probably would've made it to the Merge. If Tyson wouldn't have been so dumb Russel would go home. If Coach wouldn't have been dumb it wouldve forced a tie.

@Xedome Have you watched the show? He's REALLY smart! He got himself and Amber to the finals by winning pretty much all of the challenges (mental and physical - he's great at puzzles!) and manipulating the other castaways. He has a bachelor in psychology. He dominates in every way.

did any one else notice how jeff seemed a little bitter about Boston Rob's parting last week? he kept emphasizing how much the villians essentially sucked now without him. haha, i hope the heroes destroy them!!

I noticed that too, how he kept dwelling on Rob's departure weeks after the fact. Talking about them voting him off despite "dominating challenges".
You could tell Jeff was extremely butt-hurt by Rob getting voted off.

the main reason i watch survivor heroes vs villains is b'cause of boston rob, and was on the villains team,. and now he got voted out :( i was so upset huhuhu, i go for heroes now.. b'cause i want villains to feel the pressure without rob around, hopefully they dont do good :p

@blackmerc96 Russell did get helped by the fact that Jerri's the type of person who doesn't play around when it comes to getting revenge...Colby was responsible for her leaving in Outback, so first chance she gets, she teams up with Lex & Kathy to vote him off...then Rob convinces Lex to keep Amber over her, and in HvV, she joins Russell once she realizes that he wants Rob out ♥♥

Point Being. It doesn't help that Rob made an Alliance with a Bunch of Idiots. And he shouldn't have Crossed Russell, it doesn't help that he had to go against one of the eat Survivor Players of All Tine.

I love Rob, but I've been rooting for Russell since Day 1. And if you want someone to blame, blame Courtney, Sandra, Tyson, and Coach. If Courntey and Sandra would have played good during the Challenge, they would've won and and Rob probably would've made it to the Merge. If Tyson wouldn't have been so dumb Russel would go home. If Coach wouldn't have been dumb it wouldve forced a tie.

@lily051094 I feel your pain lily. and what's really too bad is Rob missed being on the jury by 1 person. had he just stuck around one week, we would have at least seen him sitting there during tribals, and then got to hear from him at the end. instead we get nothing!!
