  • Even if there is a "creator" why worship it? This is the act of primitive peoples and this is the 21st century. JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE!

  • SATAN ( accuser) ACCUSES. U filled with his spirit, think yourself to be god . I hav been to Cambridge and Iam a mol biologist. I must say there is GOD ( natural world creator) = LORD ( personal specific lover - spiritual ). I believe with reson with faith. I find no contradiction

  • @bteajaa: Cambridge apparently does not teach grammar.

  • @chinopisces if u think u know what english gammer is u surly do not for the rules change every 100 or so years how then doz 1 respect rules that dont stay static

  • @kingpharaohtsar: Wow. I won't even attempt to decipher that gibberish. Go back to school, kid.

  • @chinopisces then ur not speaking english

  • @kingpharaohtsar: Your logic is obviously flawed, idiot.

  • @chinopisces then why dont u explane how its flawed troll back under ur bridge

  • @kingpharaohtsar: DURR HURR HUURR DURRRR HEERP DERP!

There. Speaking in your trollish language. Better?

  • @chinopisces see ur to weak to use logic im guessing ur religious hence y u troll this video with silly comments of rules of grammer that we who made the language dont use

  • @kingpharaohtsar: Wow. You are so monumentally stupid.

If you cannot even use logic to realize why one would want to remain within grammatical standards, why the fuck should I regard you as credible at all? How arrogant to say that 'we' don't apply the rules of grammar. Obviously, YOU do not, but why should we regard your opinion anyway?

If you had a single brain cell, you'd look at my profile and realize that I'm not a theist.

Do yourself a favor and get the fuck out of here.

  • @chinopisces that was arrogant im the brit hear yanky boy ur speaking our language we made it an the rules change alot over time read more learn about the language we gave u an stop thinking u know better then a brit on the language look up old english an stephen fry as for ur faith u have faith that u think ur right about english prove ur point like i have not being religious doznt make u smart by default

  • @kingpharaohtsar: DUUURRRR HUUUURRRR DERP HEEERRPA DERPA DUURRR HEEERRRRR DURRRRRR.

  • @chinopisces see u cant resone an i bet ur a shit atheist i bet u cant evein give me ur thoughts on atheism coz all u are is sum lil hatefull troll who probly fears these man made gods grow up english grammer has no rules just ask stephen fry an ull see how petty u are

  • @chinopisces ;) true.

  • Is anyone really surprised at the " Christians" doing this, weather it is misinterpretation of what Dawkins said, since they are so dumb, or as he says Lying for Jesus.

  • There is more than a case to be made for a Creator. We now have an explanation for the beginning of things.

The Creator has posted a video on YouTube. The message comes to you directly, without the need for transcription or interpretation by bronze-age scribes, or analysis by Stephen Hawking.

The video tells you how you came to be here, outlines the meaning and purpose of your life, and gives you an insight into the future of humankind.

See ' God says sorry. '

  • This just shows how little confidence people like John Lennox have in their own beliefs when they think a single atheist like Flew becoming a deist is somehow a major victory for Jesus. Either John Lennox doesn't really believe in Christianity or he thinks the Christian god is really incompetent and incapable of convincing atheists.

  • John Lennox has really let himself go since leaving the Beatles.

  • @luyben12 wrote "...prophesied about Him in EXACT detail 400- 600 years before He was born. Read Isaiah 53"

But... Isaiah 53 is in the PAST tense. How could it possibly be a prophesy??

  • 130 people lie for jeebus

  • What satisfaction would a scientist like John Lennox get from "data mining" or telling lies? Such transparent distortion can only harm his cause and seriously undermine his integrity. Does he really have so much contempt for his audience?

  • @intrigued1231 "What satisfaction would a scientist like John Lennox get from "data mining" or telling lies? Such transparent distortion can only harm his cause and seriously undermine his integrity. Does he really have so much contempt for his audience?"

Well stated. I suppose it's like any other cloak and dagger operation, done in secrecy. It may be dirty work, and you may not receive recognition, but you will have assisted your cause on the grand scale. He's willing to play dirty to "win."

  • That's what I like about Dawkins: He doesn't ignore the claims about him, he faces them head on. So that the creationists can't skip around taunting him in blissful ignorance.

  • at this point i associate the word complexity with bigotry and intellectual dishonesty, thank you for ruining that word for me, damn you theists.

  • i didn't know they were allowed to show actual rape on youtube

  • @CopernicusXII - Dawking is emeritus fellow at Oxford, Professor for Public Understanding of Science at Oxford, has honorary doctorates at lots of other universities, recipient of the Royal Society of Literature award, and a Los Angeles Times Literary Prize, lots of other awards. Author of over a dozen best-selling books.

You say he is "petty and small minded" and "just a man nothing more" -- so, how about a list of YOUR accomplishments, publications, awards, and credentials, genius?

  • UNSPAMMING:

Arthur Shelton murdered his friend Larry Hooper because Shelton discovered Hooper was an atheist (October 2004).

Ashley Appoo learned John Leslie McDonald and his wife were atheists, so he killed John with an axe, then hacked his wife nearly to death (Brisbane, 2001).

Teenager Asia McGowan was killed in 2009 because she was an atheist.

Now -- name ONE instance of (as one person wrote) "athiest stab and shoot others to enforce there ideas".

    RELIGION is the problem.

  • @luyben12 - Phil Zuckerman, associate professor of sociology at Pitzer College wrote "Invitation to the Sociology of Religion," concluding:

"In sum, countries with high rates of organic atheism are among the most societally healthy on earth, while societies with nonexistent rates of organic atheism are among the most destitute."

  • @luyben12 - AND when you wrote: "This "cult" has 3 billion believers!!! How stupid? can you be? atheism is the cult, and stop asking for proof from our God..."

    AND:

"THERE ARE 2.2 BILLION CATHOLICS IN THE WORLD ALONE.... DO THE? MATH FORREST!!!"

    AND:

"These things were promised 6,000 yrs ago and Christianity is the largest following in the world today"

Your argumentum ad populum FAILS. How many Buddhists are there in the world?

  • @luyben12 - And I made a mistake, sorry -- not Argument from Authority; you use the Argumentum ad populum. It's a logical fallacy, so please continue to use that approach and make a fool of yourself. You're very entertaining!

  • @luyben12 - "When did I ever use the Christian majority as proof of God?"

Well, you infer it when you write:

"Factor in the that Christianity is the largest religion in the world Einstein. I said %... "

    And:

"Maybe cuz your the smallest minority in the world smart guy..."

  • @luyben12 Stop throwing out that statistic. It is not true. Or better yet, cite something reputable, if your feeble fundamentalist mind can wrap its head around what sources are. O wait, the Bible doesn't have citations or references does it?

  • @luyben12 - What you have there is a logical fallacy, the Argument from Authority. There are millions and millions of Buddhists, therefore they are correct. There are millions of Hindus, therefore, their religion is the right one. There were millions of Mithraists long before BC until 400 CE, therefore, their religion is correct.

  • @luyben12 - "God has a plan for the earth and His begotten Son is Jesus ..."

"Depart ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" promises your savior, Matthew 25:41. BUT JESUS LOVES YOU! Good luck in Hell, all those who Jesus loves (but don't believe in him).

What a wonderful and loving "savior"!!!

  • @luyben12 --

You will never turn on the news and hear a story claiming "Yesterday, another atheist suicide scientist blew himself up, killing dozens and injuring more."

    -- Michael B. Paulk

And I concur. Yet, you see religious people killing themselves and others just about every day, in the name of their deity. Funny, that.

    @luyben12: Run, Forrest, Run!!!

  • @LaVraiVerite but u do see athiest stab and shoot others to enforce there ideas, lets face it its not religion thats wrong its humanity.

  • @majinvi74 - total bullshit. When do you ever hear of an athiest who stabs and shoots others to enforce their ideas??? Quit making things up.

  • @luyben12 "Christ redeemed Adam's mistake" - 21st century, and you believe this bronze-age myth. UFB. Are you an infant? "Adam and Eve" -- HAHAHA!

  • @luyben12 - "Mao, Stalin" Zzz. They didn't kill in the name of Atheism. Christians killed, by the millions in the name of their "son of god" -- in the dark, middle ages. They had only spears, knifes, bales of hay (which they set on fire to burn non-christians alive), yet christians were able to kill -- without technology -- tens of millions.

Stalin & Mao were deluded, and considered themselves gods. They had MODERN TECHNOLOGY, yet could not kill as many as ancient Christians did.

  • @luyben12 Percentages are relative dumbass. You really must be a child.

  • @luyben12 - Largest religion in the world -- proud of that, are we? Proud that your large religious cult was responsible for killing millions of "witches" and continues to do so today (albeit not nearly as much as when commanded by the Vatican)? Proud of the Inquisitions, Crusades, 30 Years War?

Proud of the Bosnian war (1992-95), Sabra and Shatila Massacre (1982), Yelwa Massacre (2004)? Proud of the child molestation?

Proud of believing in ancient myth, that makes no sense?

  • @luyben12 - That's right, Admiral Dingdong, read what I wrote, and PROVE that we'll "find out" after we're dead. Name someone who died and prove that they "found out" any freaking thing.

  • @luyben12 - "After we die we'll see who was right" - Prove it, ace.

  • @luyben12 Why are you still talking to me? You seem to just be spouting off random, un-factual statements. Actually, around the globe, Protestants are highest in suicide rates, then comes Roman Catholics. It is relatively well known that atheists have a lower suicide rate than many religious groups. But facts don't seem to sway you, so you'll continue to believe what you believe. I am starting to feel like you are a child.

  • @luyben12 In the words of the great Hitch, "I don't hate God, that would be ridiculous."

  • @brandnubian69 - you quote the Hitch, you get an automatic thumbs up from me. Any idea how he's doing now?

  • @TownCryo Nice to see another fan of Hitch. I don't really know of his latest cancer situation, but he is still posting articles and that must be a good sign of health. I hope he can somehow pull through it.

  • @brandnubian69 - Yes, he lost his voice for a short time but apparently it has back. He doesn't live very far from me; I'd love to see him talk or debate, live... and shake his hand and sign my copy of his book, or my sister's boobs.

I see you're a fan of Dr. Harris too. Any others to recommend?

  • @TownCryo Dan Dennet has some great books. He gets into it in a more philosophical realm than Dawkins, Harris, and Hitchens. Also, the "Bible" of all atheists has to be Why I am Not a Christian by Bertrand Russell. Victor Stenger is also another brilliant man as well. His book How Science Shows that God Does Not exist is fantastic.

  • @brandnubian69 - Thanks - I've seen Dan Dennet discussing the superstitions with Hitch, Harris, and Dawkins (Four Horsemen) but haven't read any of his books yet. I own Why I am Not a Christian by Bertrand Russell, as well as a GRAPHIC NOVEL about him!! It's called LogiComix. Victor Stenger write regularly for Free Inquiry (as does the Hitch) so I've read lots of his articles.

  • @brandnubian69 - Hey, I just read what Salmon Rushdie said about "god is not Great" -- did you know? Salmon and the Hitch are good friends for many years, and Salmon commented on the book's title, saying it should be shorter. "It's one word too long" he said!

  • @TownCryo And of course the best thing an atheist can do to fasten their values of logic is to read any number of books of worship. There goes the saying, "all you have to do to become an atheist is READ the Bible." All the ammunition you need against religious folk is provided by their own books of worship.

  • @brandnubian69 What's always worked for me is just sitting here and thinking what makes sense. The world being designed and yet being 70% salt water does not make sense.

  • @majorl311 Believe me, I know the Bible and was once a Christian. I have read the Bible twice over really studying every word. I have my own self-annotated Bible full of scribbles and markings. I guarantee I know the Bible more than probably 90% of Christians and probably more than you. You are wrong, most Christians don't know the Bible, that is probably why they are still Christians.

  • @majorl311 Christian actually does not mean Christlike. Christian is simply someone who adheres to the teachings of Jesus Christ and his divine gifts. I don't know if you are a troll, a child, or are just plain stupid, but you don't seem to be able to form a coherent response, so this is my only reply.

  • @luyben12 Ha Ha. You sure made your case for the intelligence of religious folk.

  • "If there is a God, don't you think he would. . . "

Well this is just typical, to always presume that you know what god would do. If God wants his children to learn faith, then he will require them to learn humility. Dawkins is mesmerizing, and I agree that the apologists are full of it 99% of the time.. but science is of the mind, faith and love are of the heart.. they aren't the same friends.

  • @lightworker2011 Disagree completely. The human propensity towards wanting to feel faith and love are very readily determined by scientific neurological exploration. Maybe science doesn't dwell in your heart, but for me and every scientist I know, science is of the mind and the heart.

  • @brandnubian69 Now I'm not saying that a scientist can't have heart. We all have different jobs to do I believe. But I also believe that if the science community as a whole were truly living from the heart then they would apply their focus to the important things such as clean energy, but it's not a priority. It should be. Of course, neuro-science is the exploration of the physical brain, only a part of the being that you are. A science of division, as all sciences are.

  • @lightworker2011 Physicality is all we can study because it is all there is evidence for. You sound ridiculous saying that the physical aspect of the brain is only a part. And as a scientist I understand something that you may not, and that is funding. The scientific community completely relies upon it. Scientists cannot devote their time in studying clean energy unless society makes it a priority. Not to mention a lot of study is being done on clean energy regardless.

  • @lightworker2011 You mistook my statement, I am not saying that scientists have "heart," I am saying that science can be a "spiritual" endeavor, for lack of a better word. Listen to Neil Degrasse Tyson or Carl Sagan and you will understand what I am saying. A famous quote from Tyson, "We are related to this earth chemically, to each other biologically, and to the universe atomically. Wow, that is pretty damn special." Science leads us to new discovery and opens the mind up to wonder.

  • @brandnubian69 I'm not disagreeing with how the physical universe is studied. But people are conditioned to think differently in other places, like China. They don't see things the same way as out here in the west. They see humans as a part of the universe in a different way. They have different theories that are dominant in their scientific culture. All I'm saying, is that we disagree. You say potato, i say pertotto. The problem is the same as always, conditioning.. cultural corruption

  • @lightworker2011 I dont quite get what that has to do with what we were talking about. What does cultural relativism have to do with our original discussion? And no, scientific communities around the globe generally agree when it comes to many aspects of science. Science is empirical and therefore not subjective, so it is not culturally exclusive. Your thinking of different religious "theories."

  • @brandnubian69 I don't even know what point you're trying to make anymore. you want me to believe what exactly? All I was saying is that I don't believe the universe is purely physical. And your beliefs are? that everything must be understood with a reductionist method, without considering the macro level or the universal level. Everything is reduced until there is no meaning left.

  • @lightworker2011 My original assertion was that science is not purely from the mind like you originally conveyed. You took the conversation to some other level which you don't quite seem to have a handle on. That's great that you believe that not everything is not purely physical, now go conduct experiments and read research papers to back that up with evidence. Because as of now, there is no evidence to support that statement.

  • @brandnubian69 A purely logical person wishes to experience only their logical mind. How do you show someone awareness beyond their current state of mind.. it's called philosophy, and only the west regresses this idea. science of the west is reductionism not because it's better, but because that's the voice of its leaders. The followers all nod and say yup, mhmm. This is the right way, with no grasp on how it could better be. Logic is the staple of science. philosophy is the staple of heart

  • @brandnubian69 And I resent that statement that there is no evidence. Hah, the evidence is in experience of a different awareness. It is a travesty to call the experience of life meaningless simply because the brain reveals some physical understanding. The past will never catch up to the present, and you are using your past tense brain to understand the world. There is also future and present awareness, but they are not measured in a lab, they are part of the space-time 3-dimension awareness

  • @lightworker2011 You have a lot to learn my friend. Ever taken a science class, or a philosophy class? Philosophy gave birth to science and is largely still apparent in the west. I don't get why you think otherwise other than maybe you have never been exposed to a system of higher learning. You largely misunderstand science and largely misunderstand the concept of reality and material. Your rambling in your final post makes zero sense.

  • @brandnubian69 Right and that is so true, so I rely on the tidbits of what I get from cold followers of science to form my thesis of what it might be like, and I get it perfectly well. You really don't know what I'm saying, but I take no fault in that. This has been purely argumentative, and I have no desire to pursue it further.

  • Comment removed

  • past present and future is what the brain uses to operate in the 3rd dimension. Physics has it wrong they only theorize the dimensions of space, but space and time are inseparable. Future awareness is imagination, but it still is processed in the past brain, which is electromagnetism.. limited by the speed of light. then there is the present.. the emotional awareness. The brain is the 3-dimensional navigator. Using only logic is using only the past tense brain.

  • @brandnubian69 Western science is reductionism, and it is a poor system.. The chinese way is three attack, they consider the quantum level, the universal exchange of matter and energy, and the macro level of the human biology. The western world is just.. not there.

  • @lightworker2011 I dont know if you have a handle on western science. Western practitioners dwell in quantum physics, biological and chemical realms, and atomic matter and energy. I dont quite get where you are getting your information.

  • @luyben12 Faith is not a beautiful thing to me, so don't tell me you are sorry for me. As if you are in possession of some truth I do not have. Faith is simply making a virtue for not thinking. You are lazy and don't want to search for the answers so you chock it up to some deity. Whom I know you have never spoken to. If there is a God, don't you think he would value a man's search for answers through scientific exploration and discovery over a man who blindly and lazily accepts what he is told?

  • @brandnubian69 Think for yourself and stop spouting off what your preachers tell you. And don't act like you know atheism. I have dwelled in religion and am still relatively involved in the Christian community due to my father's association within the church. I have been there and done that. You sir have not and appear as nothing more than a bigot.

  • @luyben12 I am not guna take it easy. You are clumping all atheists together, talking down to me as if you "know" that I am wrong. Your simply babbling on. Your telling me you don't rely on the logic of man. Tell me sir, when you get sick, do you pray for God to heal you and leave it at that, or do you go to the hospital? Do you drive a car to work in the morning? Do you take medicine to relieve your pain? You wouldn't get through a day without relying on the "logic of man" as you call it.

  • @luyben12 And don't tell me I am not well read in science. I am currently working towards my MA in evolutionary biology. I am probably more well versed on the Bible as well. An end product of having a pastor for a father. Every atheist I know has studied both sides rigorously. Only through this do they reject the theist proposition. Stop generalizing and learn to think for yourself.

  • @luyben12 I never said you were insane or archaic and I don't enjoy people placing words in my mouth. You however seem to have a strong degree of hatred towards atheists. I can tell you that my goals in life are to further my knowledge of this world and universe and to love and help my fellow man and woman. All of the atheists I know feel exactly the same way.

  • @luyben12 Don't talk down to me as if I am some lesser human for not believing what you believe. I base my decisions on empirical evidence. I have yet to see a worthy argument for the existence of a theist God. Present one to me now, and I will review. "Hateful people with bad childhoods..." a pure religious generalization that I have yet to experience in the other atheists I have encountered. Atheists are of different color, creed, feeling, and emotion, just like any religious folk.

  • @luyben12 I do have a notion of the relationship with God. I was a Christian, raised by a pastor for a father and a very traditional Catholic mother. Don't tell me I don't know what it means to be in the hands of religion. And absolutism lies on your side of the line my friend, not mine. I am saying that there is no reason to believe there is an afterlife, because no evidence for it has ever been presented. Present some evidence and I will review it.

  • @luyben12 It sounds hysterical to question the existence of the soul? In the face of zero evidence that consciousness survives after death, and no reason to really believe it does anyway. I would conclude that your absolute certainty that there is a life after death makes you quite hysterical. What makes you believe so? Because the Bible tells you so? And what makes you think your going to heaven and I am not? And yes, if life continues on after death I will wait to see, that sounds great ace.

  • @luyben12 If you want to continue gulping down the lies being spoonfed to you by your preachers and parents, then do so, but don't bring others down with you. Knowledge is the key to living a fulfilling life, and spreading religious doctrine that teaches people to just blindly accept is the most immoral of all practices on this earth.

  • @luyben12 HAHA. Great response. You don't know what else to tell me because you are simply wrong. Atheism kills more than the body? Are you referring to the spirit sir? If your looking for spirituality in Christianity, then you will find none. Just greed and hypocrisy enshrouded in false humility. Atheism frees the soul (if there is one), and allows the host to focus on the here and now. To focus on the beauty of the people and nature that surrounds him or her. Humanism is strictly antitheist.

  • @luyben12 - you seem to use the term "God-less" as if perjorative. It's a compliment. Those who believe they know "god" are deluded. Which, of the many thousands proposed, is the "real" god? You're made in god's image, right? Is god a man? Does he have a son? A wife, a pet dog, maybe? How do you "know" what you claim to know? Where is your evidence? Why can't you be good, without requiring a supernatural dictatorship?

  • @luyben12 You are wrong. Stalin killed round 20 million and Mao around 45 million. Yes huge numbers indeed, but not hundreds of millions. It shows your lack of historical accounting. And I guess you cannot understand my former claim so I shall resist the temptation to continue on with my explanation of why people do not kill in the name of atheism. People do not kill because of a lack thereof. "Blah Blah Blah," religious understanding if I ever heard it.

  • @luyben12 Not to mention the reason why religion was smothered by Stalin is because he was building his own "religion" from the ground up. Stalinism is most certainly a religion. He removed God from the minds of the public to replace it with himself. Because as long as the public believed that Stalin had to answer to someone else, he wasn't truly powerful. In Communist Russia there was no room for God and Stalin, therefore Stalin absorbed the other.

  • @luyben12 You are obviously missing the point libomann is trying to make. Yes Stalin's regime was atheistic and smothered religion, but they did not kill BECAUSE of atheism. Atheism is a lack of a belief. There really shouldn't even be a name for it because calling it atheism likens it to a religion or belief. Nobody kills for a lack of belief. It just doesn't make any sense.

  • @luyben12 - it's the largest religion in the world? How does that help your case? It proves (1) childhood brainwashing is really effective, (2) threat of eternal damnation if you don't believe, is a powerful tool, and (3) the 391 CE edict making Christianity the only legal religion of the Empire, under penalty of death, would cause the cult to become this popular. Enlightened people of our era will ensure the deadly cult fades.

  • @luyben12 - Stalin and Mao didn't kill in the name of atheism the way Christians killed in the name of Christ.

Pope Innocent III got millions of "witches" killed in his lifetime. The Christians, over the period of 1000 years, killed in the tens of millions, including burning innocent men, women, and children alive.

It continues today. In Tanzania, Indonesia, the Congo, Ghana, Christians actively pursue and execute witches. That's some cult.

  • @luyben12 - "you can't call the largest religious following in the world a cult" - yes we can, you simpleton. Christianity began as a local cult in a tiny area of the near east. At what point did it "graduate" from "cult" to "religion"? When Christians started killing, by the millions, all non-Christians? When they burned "witches", men, women, children? Congratulations; your cult is now a full-fledged religion, with millions of duped believers, and millions of victims, dead.

  • want to know something really special?

go to "after the rain nzoz1978" and find my 3 comments.

  • I think God could theoretically exist, but only if a universe existed before the universe. this universe would have to have the exact same laws of physics to influence our universe at the beginning and the other universe would have to have existed for at least 10^10^50 years(even longer than it would take supermassive black holes to decay via Hawking Radiation) for vacuum fluctuations to enter a statistical chain of events which could lead to the universe itself becomming self-aware.

  • Voltaire: --- "I am abandoned by God and man; I will give you half of what I am worth if you will give me six months' life." (He said this to Dr. Fochin, who told him it could not be done.) "Then I shall die and go to hell!"

Robert Ingersoll: --- "O God, if there be a God, save my soul, if I have a soul!" (Some say it was this way: "Oh God, if there be a God, save my soul if I have a soul, from hell, if there be a hell!")

  • @majorl311 - one of my favorties by Intersoll is "Why should I allow that same God to tell me how to raise my kids, who had to drown His own?"

Oh, and another: "If a person would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would strictly follow the teachings of the New, he would be insane."

  • @libomann The Bible says this ,Rightly Divide the word of God and this is the problem unless you are Christian you cannot rightly divide it,see God had one rebellion in Heaven so the people He brings in next time, well He wants some obedience !

So there fore He has hidden the truths in the Bible ,Jesus even said father I thank you that you have hidden these truths to those who think themselves wise and revealed them unto babes, babes meaning those who say they are willing to obey and learn !

  • @majorl311 - "God had one rebellion in Heaven" - How do you know this? What is your evidence? What is "Heaven"? And, are you an infant? Are you able to think for yourself??

  • @libomann How do I know well you will never know unless you become a Christian then you will know!

  • @majorl311 - It doesn't surprise me at all, that this is how it works: One you " become a Christian then you will know" as you say. In other words, become a Christian and you will require no evidence whatsoever. Gullibility is your virtue, your faith.

Justin Martyr wrote, c. 155 CE, of any believer, "...by the mere fact of his being a Christian he does no wrong."

What a crock of superstitious, pious nonsense. Keep your head buried in the mud; or, turn on your brain and THINK!

  • @libomann His Christian faith is important to astronaut Jeff Williams, who wouldn't dream of leaving home -- or earth, for that matter -- without it.

Williams, a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Houston, says he plans to stay in touch with his congregation even though he'll be off the planet -- orbiting 250 miles above the earth during a six-month stint aboard the International Space Station.

  • @libomann Communion on the Moon - Buzz Aldrin - The first religious act performed on the moon (Apollo 11) was the Christian celebration of communion.

  • @majorl311 - I KNOW! Almost unbelievable. But Christian brainwashing of children explains it easily. Buzz Aldrin did get permission from NASA to do a communion on the moon, and Neil Armstong realized what superstitious nonsense it was (Neil was one of the best and smartest pilots, and probably the best Apollo commander ever).

So tell me this: When was the first communion performed, on the earth? And who was involved? A general answer will suffice. The year, and a couple of people there.

  • @libomann This collection presents over 1600 mini-biographies of scientists of the Christian faith-including scholars, mathematicians, and theologians who advanced the cause of science. These Christians pioneered disciplines ranging from oceanography to astronomy, geology to biology, rocket science to genetics. The mini-biographies are presented in alphabetical order ,should i list them all or do you want to look for yourself i can send you the website if you wish?

  • @majorl311 - Sure, people can name hundreds of Christian scientists. One can't really name all the atheist scientists, because the list is WAY TOO LONG. Come up with a book of Christian scientists, and it can't compare to the volumes of books one could write about the RATIONAL non-superstitious, freethinking scientists.

I'm sorry, your religion is based on ancient myths that are completely unreasonable and the dogmas make no sense. So sad.

  • @libomann James Benson Irwin (Colonel, United States Air Force) - Apollo 15, July, 1971. He was the founding president of the High Flight Foundation, a Christian inter-denominational evangelical ministry based in Colorado Springs. Died in 1991.

  • @libomann Charles Moss Duke, Jr. (Brigadier General, USAF, Ret.) - Lunar module pilot of Apollo 16, April 16-27, 1972. He is an active speaker and Christian lay witness and President of Duke Ministry For Christ.

  • @libomann Both Rick Husband and Michael Anderson were committed Christians, who attended the same church, Grace Community Church.

did they quit thinking once they became a Christian?I think they had to study a lot ,hey so there goes that misconception right out the window right?

  • Respond to this video... six Christian astronauts so far !

  • @majorl311 - "six Christian astronauts so far" - now, please enumerate the list of non-religious astronauts. HUNDREDS for sure. But you don't want to admit that.

Tell me; why is Christianity such a popular religion today? Is it because the bible is perfect and wonderful? Because the Christian (Hebrew??) god is so loving and wonderful? Because Jesus was a perfect role model?

    Good luck with this one...

  • @libomann well I for one will stick with my faith and you can have your faith is atheism I hope it does not let you down because we all are going to die someday, the Bible say men don't live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God,Solomon was considered the wisest man and you can read his writings Proverbs and Ecclesiastes so the great thing about America is we coexist here and it has worked fine!

  • @majorl311 - "you can have your faith is atheism" - how nice of you to ASSume I'm an atheist (I'm not; but I'm not a brainwashed Christian). Moreover, atheism is not a "faith."

"The great thing about America is we coexist here and it has worked fine" -- except perhaps for SLAVERY (always condoned by the bible, including Jesus recommending savage whipping of slaves), and the killing of "witches" (also recommended by the bible). And Christians killing atheists, and family planning doctors.

  • @libomann remember what I told you now, rightly dividing the word well you are not rightly dividing the word ,you are slinging an axe at it,take care now,the prozac well you can't trust the FDA and you can't trust doctors and pharmaceuticals either but the masses usually do

  • @majorl311 <-------------------- Delusional fucking moron.

He thinks only his god is real. He has no proof but will endlessly quote the Bible as proof (he thinks it's proof). He lacks any critical thinking skills and any conversation with hi will quickly bare this out. He is on a mission to shove god down your throat, just like Islam does.

  • @mechanicmike69 Mike no that is not true and unless God is speaking to your heart then ,like the Bible says no one comes to god unless the spirit leads him to come to God,just want to try to get across that God is there if you someone will reach out and pray when they need Him!

  • @majorl311 Just like I said, you are a delusional fucking moron. Your fucking religion is not the only one, why you keep preaching to everyone as if it is the only one proves beyond a shadow of a doubt you are a pompous arrogant and self-righteous asshole. Your religion is NOT "The One Truth". So quite asserting your dogma on others, you are an inconsiderate asshole. No-one needs your religion's imaginary beings. Grow up moron!

  • @majorl311 <---------------------- Delusional Fucking Moron. Doesn't know and doesn't care there are other gods and other religions besides his. What an arrogant 'One Channel' brainwashed moron.

  • @libomann hey this goes on all the time from our great sciences

Have you or a loved one used Prozac®?

The use of Prozac® has been linked to serious side effects including birth defects in children.

  • @majorl311 - Regarding Prosac - Yes, I know. A complete non sequitur. What is your point??????

  • @majorl311 "They [preachers] dread the advance of science as witches do the approach of daylight and scowl on the fatal harbinger announcing the subversions of the duperies on which they live."

    - Thomas Jefferson

Fuck your astronauts. Fuck your Ad hominems. Fuck your god damned religious propaganda you old man.

You are a delusional fucking moron.

  • @libomann Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1627)

Bacon was a philosopher who is known for establishing the scientific method of inquiry based on experimentation and inductive reasoning. In De Interpretatione Naturae Prooemium, Bacon established his goals as being the discovery of truth, service to his country, and service to the church. Although his work was based upon experimentation and reasoning, he rejected atheism as being the result of insufficient depth of philosophy,

  • @libomann Although his work was based upon experimentation and reasoning, he rejected atheism as being the result of insufficient depth of philosophy, Bacon said this about atheism the Catholics sent believers who were called heretics to be burned at the stake because these believers saw the truth in the Bible and not what Catholics told them

  • @majorl311 So you are using a man that lived in a time of almost total control from the church as proof of god, because he didn't believe an atheist view was correct. I suppose the fact that admitting you were an atheist in those days would result in you at the very least being kicked out of town after they stoned you to death. Your posts are always lacking in any critical thinking skills or logical thought. Your god does not exist.

  • @majorl311 - Woops, we're talking about two different Bacons here. I was referring to Roger Bacon (1214–1294), and you were talking about Francis Bacon. Sorry for the mix-up.

  • @libomann ok that is ok,it had me mixed up but your honest and made it right thanks

  • @majorl311 Not an answer.

  • @majorl311 You sound like a used car salesman and have less to sell. You really are pathetic.
