must be an american rottie, or a mix. Hes got legs like a doberman. and hes looks active which is awsome. making sure they dont have so much weight to carry around helps prevent hip problems :). all 3 dogs are beautiful ^^

@AL0CK if u do research u will see there r american rottweilers with heads like those and german rottweilers with the big heads ur used to seeing its like labradors u got 3 different kinds but all the same dog only difference is the size

@FatonyIsGod research has been done that rott wether american or german is mixed with another breed. look at the build of the dog, just as eddy8496 says that rott is mixed with doberman.

Awesome dogs. Beautiful. I have 2 rotties. The one is 179 pounds. He weighed 137 at 9 months old. LOL. The other rott is very small. We adopted her at age 11 and she weighed 80 pounds. She now weighs 90. I enjoyed watching your pups play.

80 is light but about 90+ is right for a bitch male should be a max of 130 given a bit over it for natural variations but no way shud it be 179

mines german too im in ireland we dont get those lanky things here. i looked at some of your vids looking it it its hard to say cuz it has that scruffier coat but it does look a tad on the podgy side not clinical obese like some you see on here but cud do with a pudding less after dinner lol tis hard not to give treats when those big browns r begging though lol

Ah, so you know what I'm talking about. I guess some dogs are prone to be big, Tippy has always been big and it really doesn't matter how much or how little he eats.The vets he sees thought he would really top out at 200. Fortunately he has never hit that high. and yes, those big browns are a killer. LOL. Thanks.

they are treats dont affect mine im lucky living in the country we have the sea and forests nearby so he burns off everything. funny thing is ppl say hes fat and im umm where exactly? theyre meant to have a big chest he goes in at all the right places

Most people look at my big boy and ask what kind of dog is he. Most don't know the difference between a german and american. Astounds me. Mine have a huge backyard to run and don't let his size fool you, He can run when he wants to. Plus I take them for walks. They love to go for walks. Thanks keeperrock.

lol the word walk or beach always results in that little head tilt thing they do but yeah mines german too we dont tend to get the americanised ones here cept for crossbreeds that sometimes look like them saw and irish wolfhound x rottie was kinda more like the one in the vid here only slightly broader. they aint meant to be a tall dog dunno wha they did 2 the bloodline in america to make those things. they shud also be broader than the one in the vid but it still has some filling out to do reli

Most of the american rotts are small. I mean really small. My Sadie was an american and big for an american, but Nessy is a rosdon rott and she is a teeny tiny thing. The chest isn't as broad as a german and the head is a different shape, more rounded instead of flat and the muzzle is longer.
