Yes the modern standard does not correspond to the original breed.
in the past in italy there was only one molosser dog.
You can call this dog italian molosser.
To create a different breed and make bussines and money this people cross the original breed with boxer an bullmastiff.Cane corso never in the past close the bite like a boxer or bullmastiff this is very bad for the cane corso selection.the breed now is in big troubles.when the man touch too much the selection i think is always bad.

For those of you who thinks he is a Neo-mix, check the history. The CC and the Neo shared the same name untill 1949. Its not very chocking that some CC does look more or less like the Neo.. A dog i more than just a face.. haha

Maybe he is not a show champion, but as a matter of fact he has been showed for judges with not too bad results. I know, i was the one handling him. You have seen +10 CC? Hahahaha, what a joke. I have seen hundrets and i know he is a pure breed. I dont understand why you people want to spread negative comments around you..

This dog does look like a full blooded Corso the only problem I can see (argue if you wanna, standard is the standard) the face is way more than slightly converging. All Corso have faults that is why breeders breed to try to make the best dog they can. No litter can ever produce a perfect Corso and if everyone only waited untill each pup was perfect this breed would have never made AKC.
im thinking people are calling him a english mastiff because you do not have his ears cropped like a normal CC would appear, and thats how people would tell them apart. but he looks amazing and im happy you kept him natural!!!
This CC has been assessed in several dogshows of well-known judges who had no objection to his appearance. Those of you who have not seen the dog in real life should stop express yourself. To assess a dog on a movie clip is not possible, in addition, nobody asked for your opinion on his appearance.
Adam is a beautiful Cane Corso! I´m prod to to have seen him live! There´s no doubt that HE IS A CANE CORSO!!! He is a wonderful representative of the breed!

This Dog is from the modern CC show selection.
this selection cross the original breed whit boxer or bullmastiff blood.
The original breed was very different from this type.
For the actual standard this is a CC but for who knows the breed and the old type this is not CANE CORSO.Sorry for my english.im from italy.Ciao.
