I see. Someone tested it with every character, and the Ike boards started really looking into it a few weeks ago when it was discovered Ike's went the furthest. If you do a counter right after, it boost you further, and he can cross almost all of FD.

I love how people are incorporating the DACIT into Ike's gameplay. Out of curiosity, why throw the item up? I find throwing it forward is much more effective. Causes them to either shield (which gets you a free grab, or smash if they screw up) or get hit with the item, followed by a F-smash if the item has little knockback.
