@Therealguymins You should be able to save. I have Windows 7 as well, though I'm currently on a Custom built PC running Windows 7 32-bit. Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit? 64-bit seems to have a few incompatibility issues with XP/ME games. ESC and looking at the Save/Load menu while youre on another computer that uses Windows 7. Might just be the 64-bit incompatibility.

@Axel0nTT I disagree Red Faction 2 was ok but not as good as RF1. Yeah they used the same music and remixed some of it. The no online multiplayer for RF2 was a mistake.

God, this game had it's own bit in the revolution of fps gaming for one simple fact:

Total destructability.

This game is my all time favorite and me and my friend every now and then still play it. sure i get my ass kicked cause he is so good, but I'll never stop burrowing holes into walls to get to his base and give him whatever hell i can lol.
