  • Amy Chua is never a fair person. She talked about the Europeans sharing knowledge among each others to better one another, but she simply chooses to talk about her ethnic Chinese people continuing to DOMINATE economically the nations of Southeast Asia and to live separately from the natives of those people. Chinese do not share knowledge and they live unfairly and separately from the natives of that that provide them opportunites. Amy Chu is lucky to be in America, in China she'd b differnt

  • @KCAASE

It would be wise to prove yourself wrong before you make any statement. I commend the book "Day of Empire" that Amy Chua wrote, and then contemplate whether or not you were in the right position to say that she is never a fair person.

  • @SEEANDPEA Amy Chua is simply a f*cked up person with the ultimate hatred against unfortunate people. If she were to be in China she would be the most hardcore Commie alive. In fact, I can prove to you right now that she is in the same group of those Chinese passers-by who let the 2-year old girl die in the middle of alley street in China. That is the true essense of Amy Chua. She is a heartless obnoxious Chinese person.

  • Amy Chua, you are a sellout to asia america

    Go on kissing whitey's ass

  • @mauiwowi You Sir, are a sellout to what it means to be American. She is an intellectually honest academic who is unbiased in her beliefs. This is exactly why China or for that matter any other Asian nation is not capable of becoming a hyper power: intolerance.

  • Hey! Can I say something? Hey!

  • Hey! Can I say something?

  • Amy Chua is a hyperpower of beauty.

  • european union certainly wont b a superpower

  • I don't know, but once they feel they're in crisis they'll attack Russia again just for Russia's oil and natural gas.

  • lol is that a joke? europe has become the land of pacifists and cowards who r paying the taliban to not attack them in afghanistan lol.

    .

  • What a bullshit discussion

  • china has the right idea, they are united by one culture one racial identity how has being diverse helped america we were fine as a nation of european immigrants who came to the us and amalgamated to the culture and become part of mainstream american culture, we could have been culturally united instead of culturally divided as we are now,the oldest way to control a large population is divide and conquer and the u.s. is the most divided nation ever even when races mix still they are divided!

  • One culture?? What an idiot they don't even speak the same language

  • to 0341 dog

that is the most ignorant statement ive ever heard

do me a favor look in the mirror and say "ima brainwashed fool" "and ill find out the day that i die.. that i have been screwed"

  • China will run the west in the next decade. China holds the notes coming due soon.

  • Amy chua rules, very nice comments, and shes very intelligent. I can't help notice her facial expressions when she talks, its very interesting and sexual

  • think about Vietnam in some time you monkey ass... you got kicked out all the way back to U.S. don't ever forget that...

  • and don't YOU forget how many of us didn't want to be sent to Vietnam in the first place, the american soldiers were forced to go by the greedy old men in charge. In the end we're all just pawns

  • jesus was probably a jew...english aint many jew's mothertongue. english didnt even exist back in jesus's time, not even old english.

  • The english speaking peoples are the rightful masters of the planet earth. English is the only tongue God hears or speaks. We were endowed by our creator with gifts no other people posess! First the British and now America! You are privileged to live in such a glorious time!

  • tell me how you really feel christian cracker

  • and if america collapses, what will happen to all the dumbass americans?

  • we'll have plenty of these blondis to fuck at cheap price.

  • the asian girl is pretty but she sometimes looks like she's smelled someones fart lol.

  • an instance? the j-xx fighter developed in china. it is a fifth generation stealth aircraft to rival the f-22 and is expected to have its maiden voyage by 2012.

  • btw, china is maintaining a decent military through sheer numbers and temporarily using russias military equipment, such as planes. china is advancing rapidly and we all know this. would china have ever even dreamed of hosting the olympics 20 years ago? in the near future, say a decade or 2, maybe 50 years the maximum, china will almost certainly catch up to the usa in military. in fact, the us department of defense predicts that china will be a world leader in laser weapons tech by 2020.

  • funny. hyperpower? like rome? rome conquered their known world. our known world is the earth today and it has been so with the rapidly advancing technology. if the usa tried to conquer our known world the world will have enough military force to conquer usa a few times over and nuke them many times more. not to mention that if china comes into conflict with the usa the vast majority of american busineses will fail and lead to a major downturn in the us economy.

  • you should know that america has been conquering other countries still back when only america had nuclear weapons.

  • You people are idiots and that is why you don't run your country or are involved in politics. China invaded Vietnam and was defeated in 2 weeks. They lost THOUSANDS of troops. The US never invaded NORTH Vietnam, it only protected South Vietnams borders. The whole war the US lost 40,000 troops but killed 3 million enemy troops. Experts say if allowed to invade the North, the US would have ended the war quickly. Vietnam is considered a political loss but military victory.

  • Now you bring up Iraq. Iraq was the most advanced country in the Middle East. Why don't you people know the facts if you're going to post? They have the same weapons as most European countries and the same ones used by Russia. Over 1 million Iraqi's are dead, their government has been replaced and only 4,000 US troops have died in 6 years. 4,000 people a hour died in WW2. The US controls Iraq's resources. You act like because soldiers die the war is lost. Everybody has a gun. You can't stop it.

  • If you people do your research and so did the guy in this video, you'd know that Russia's military would lose to the US (not counting what's left of their nukes which they won't have in 7 years) and China also has a weak military. Europe also has small numbers and is dependent on US assistance. The fact is your military and society would be destroyed in a war with the US. Sure you can "rebel" but that's not winning a war. Did France defeat Germany in WW2? Nope, but they had an insurgency.

  • America is a paper tiger not a "hyper power". America always runs when the going gets tough, Iraq, Somalia and of course the classic case Vietnam. America is a fascist power and cannot defeat the people.

  • "ask how America will manage its own decline diplomatically"---> GOLDEN WORDS!!

  • wow... this asian chick is really hot...

  • she talks with ALL the muscles in her mouth.

    ; )

  • I would like to see them trying to attack Russia!

  • Americans are cowards. They can only attack small nations that can not defend themselves. You will never attack Russia simply because the consequence for you would be devastating. You were not even able to defend your satellite Georgia. On the other hand, Russians did defend their allies Ossetia and Abkhazia with military force.

  • @rodnoverije

We are such cowards that we send our young men to foreign soil to fight against tyranny and stop terrorism. What is the utility in fighting Russia? You seem to argue geopolitics with high school cafeteria rhetoric. Ossetia and Abkhazia are small vessel states being used by Russia to fight a proxy war with its neighbor Georgia. Too bad America didn't lay the smack down on Putin's sad display of machismo with Georgia. But then what's the point? Everyone knows Russia is a bully.

  • @rodnoverije

u silly guy, why would america waste life to defend a nation not worth defending. russia had to defend that little allies of theirs because its next door to them. if russia attack canada or america's neigbor it will defend

  • When the going gets tough, the U.S leaves! Thats their moto! They can't deal with real fight. They got fucked up in Vietnam, in Korea, in Samolia, and their C.I.A lost badly in Tibet. They struggled and have great deal of trouble fighting against armies that can take the fight to them!

  • Well said.

  • @AClassFighter

That's what I'm saying. Americans lost the Korean war, the Vietnam war, Iraq and Afghan. What's so funny is that Americans brainwashed themselves to think that they won the Vietnam war because they killed more civilians. Or they say it was an ideological war and not the traditional war, whatever the hell that means. You see, America will never ever be in war with China because we will blow these fuckers away. That's why they succumbed to being China's little slaves.

  • @femaleasian1 The strange thing is that China is: A: still decades behind America militarily B. internally unstable due to a stark wealth gap, ethnic intolerance, poor human rights, and widespread corruption and C: fervently nationalistic. Mind you that no great civilization of the past was capable of dominating for long without a sense of pluralism, to include the Tang and Yuan dynasty. China is simply too ethnically homogenous to compete.

  • @jmnage

You've been brainwashed by the white MSM. It's America that is violating human rights (killing innocent civilinas in Iraq, Afghan, Pakistan, Yemen, Africa, etc); U.S. Congress is the epitome of corruption from cash exchange with the big banks, MNC; the middle class in America is being wiped out faster than any country in the world; America has rapid increase of militia groups in midwest region; racism in America do and will continue to exist (don't pay attention to IR relationship) etc

  • @AClassFighter Even Rome lost many battles in its history. The truth is that regardless or whether a country is a superpower or hyperpower, it isn't invincible. Vietnam was not lost on a military level. Westmoreland cannot recall a single military defeat in the entirety of the war, that's because the war was lost back home. Look at the state of Somalia now after the United States left. It's time for other "superpowers" to roll up their sleeves and help out in stabilizing the world too.

  • When is America gonna start fighting a real fight! Like, right now they are making themselves look bad in Iraq, they are fighting against a freaking 3rd world country. they are fighting a bunch of fighters with no professional military training, ill-equipped, & no top notch-mordern-weapons & YET, still these ppl can still took down 4,000 of your troops with them and injured hundreds more. Thats pathetic! Why don't they fight countries with an army that can can fight back just as good!?!

  • America's only salvation is its large economy thanks to a lack of real enemies in the Western hemisphere.

  • America a hyperpower? There's nothing special about America. America has never fought a country that could match it in military terms, like the USSR. America didn't distinguish itself in war in any way other than to build a lot of war material and overwhelming its opponent. And America doesn't influence or control any of the major countries in the world. There's still so many opponents of the USA.

  • you mean eastern culture merging into western culture as a whole, not just the us. shanghai is european enough, for an example. also, note that american culture is somewhat different from the rest of the world.

  • when i said euros arent quite advanced i meant euros are...

  • Language power and cultural prestige. Are American malls starting to look like Chinese markets? Generally no. Are Chinese markets beginning to look like American malls? Generally yes.

  • lets say us to china in economy then. china is richer. the russians arent far behind in military. the european nations such as britain and germany arent quite advanced in military as well(not saying that theyre superpowers though). the german leopard tank is arguably the best tank in the world for an example. what i was trying to say is that while the us at its current state is still a superpower, you cannot say its a hyperpower such as ancient rome.

  • Comparing the EU to the US is a bit unfair. It is afterall comparing over 20 countries to one country. If we want to include economic alliances, then we should compare NAFTA to the EU. I know that the EU has a comman currency, but it still is not a single country.

  • funny how they say america is a hyperpower. china is now richer than america.if america tries to do what rome did russia, europe(britain, germany etc), china and the rest of the world will have enough nukes to nuke them a few times over. americas population is only a portion of the worlds.

  • this is why i despise yale

  • That asian hooker just wanted to come on camera... we all know that american economy is deteriorating, nyse is volatile. Other nations now prefer euro over usd.

  • US dollar is crap!No one in World wants it anymore.Long live Serbia, and Serbian Kosovo!

  • It will not last much longer, because the profiteers who run the country only see immediate profit, ignoring the fact that resources on earth are not infinite. The need of multinationals to outsource jobs to keep their profits up will eventually die out as well, but only when the country's people take true, direct-democracy into their own hands.

  • The US isn't getting any less powerful, it's quite the opposite actually. The thing that is happening is other countries are enjoying increased influence relative to the US. Same for the EU. I think it is a democratizing force that eventually increases wealth around the world.

  • I agree with Ayeere. EU will be VERY considerable in terms of influence. But due to it's structure it'll be hard to move unilaterally or even as quickly as China or even the US.

General idea I get of russia, is that while it is gaining traction, it still has a ways to go.

  • Is Amy living in dream world...US is descending Superpower and never acheived Hyperpower status. With all its millitary power it cant stabilise a tiny nation like Iraq or afghanistan.

  • Reguardless what its doing, US isn't really trying to stablise Iraq, its just using it to gain oil, the American Controlled areas in Iraq aren't stable, the EU controlled areas on the other hand, generally are... Its all about money, thats how the US works, its fairly obvious really... It still is a superpower and is a hyperpower, it just doesn't really think of other nations, only its own needs and wants

  • The difficulties in Iraq and Afganistan are caused by road side bombs and ambush attacks, these (for the most part) are unavoidable and don't reflect America's influence. Influence is derived (as far as the military goes) in the ability to effect states which the U.S. has the ability to do (i.e. Saddam/Taliban).

  • First -- Why did America invade these countries under false pretext. Americans say that Saddam was evil person, but I would argue who are Americans to judge people around the world. Look into your own backyard...you massacred the entire native american population and grabbed their land and resources. And now you are giving the rest of World a moral lesson...oh c'mon give me a break. Just google 'CIA Covert operations' and you know what an evil empire we are talking about here.

  • Kellog your comment is entirely irrelevant and a classic strawman. I never defended the war in Iraq, American foreign policy, or actions taken against Native Americans. Nice knee-jerk anti-Americanism though. I was addressing your assertion that the U.S. isn't a "hyperpower." Which of course is false and a quick glance at raw figures clearly shows this. The world isn't in black and white kellog, which I hope you realize.

  • I know world isnt black & white...but i feel bad when innocent people are being killed and root cause of this problem is US invasion. And worse thing is americans dont take the responisbility of this shit and they blame the poor iraqi people and their puppet govt.

  • I think Bin Laden is hiding out in Crawford, TX.

  • Bin Laden is DEAD. There is a video on my favorites in which Benazir Bhutto, before her assassination, declares that Bin Laden was murdered and she even gives the killers name.

Look at the latest videos of "Bin Laden." The clips are here on youtube. He is wearing a gold ring, which is foebidden by Muslim law.

The clips point out other differences, plus there is an obvious difference between the actor and the real, now deceased Bin Laden.

  • Always great when i can get time to watch these pieces. That woman's words were very interesting.

  • i have a theory on Bin Laden, he's either dead (praise satan) haha!..or he's being protected by Pakistan in the mountains. nothing short of someone turning him in will get him if he's alive, and so what.. their is alot more out there who will brainwash some poor un-educated shmuck off the street to blow themselves up while murdering helpless civilians.

  • hyper power my ass.

    can't find bin ladin

  • I think that EU wont step in an take it. China will.

I beleive what happened is that Russia fell, we lost focus. We invaded iraq once, then we came back, jsut becuase. This is going to sound so dumb, but i believe Bush invaded Iraq and the American people supported it because we needed to do SOMETHING. We needed to feel that somethign was happening. Lost focus, lost our way.

  • What an over complicated way to talk about alliances between countries.. What do you think the EU is....

  • Drivel, when you don't even discuss the greatest X-Factor - Resurgent Russia and the massive Eurasian heartland!

Objectivity is the truest symbol of any good programmer!

  • I think its fair to say that as a superpower the US is a mature one whilst Russian as your said is "resurgent" and there is no country called "Eurasian".

  • Who said anything about a country, god forbid. All I said was about "the massive Eurasian heartland!"

  • Well to be a superpower there needs to be one common governance, I think you will find this does not exist in your "Eurasia".

  • And does it exist in EU?

Does it have any coherent Foreign,Economic and military policy?

And Eurasia is probably more coherent than EU!

  • No the EU does not have a coherent foreign and military occupation. Dont you remember the recent US invasion of Iraq and Britain's stance?

  • I wish it would of been longer :(
