It's amazing how Tebaldi can sound so strident and sensual as Leonora in Verdi and yet sound so gentle, naive and delicate as Mimi. Tebaldi's voice in her prime was so rich, colouring phrases immaculately.

I have been a Tebaldi fan since I was 14. IMO hers is the most beautiful vopice I have ever heard.

De Los Angles sang a varietry wide variety of music with voice, technique and style. Her recordings of songs are amazing. I miss both of them.

Callas was wxciting and could sing coloriatyra well sometimes but the wobble and astringent tones just wear me out. For me Callas is more a historical figure than a singer I go to very often and this is after 50 years of listening to her.

I read comments and if I had to express an opinion I would say that in Mimi, Tebaldi was not as fragile as los Angeles or do not so dramatic as Callas but "She" was certainly the only one, the unique for the beauty of her voice's tone to nobody else similar.

These three Divas had each their personality and it is not just, to my opinion, to compare them ... even if I have a little preference for the Tebaldi.

Maria has a totally different colaratura voice than Renata, I agree in Puccini overall Tebaldi is queen, apart from Tosca. But when it's dramatic it's Callas.
