@soodlorr I think the main reason of his death was age, I bet he crashed many test cars in the past which were not near as safe. This is part of his job, to find the limits of a car, and loosing control of it is inevitable. But at his age... I'll put it this way: it's very easy for 78 year old to be killed by a common flu. We don't know why exactly he had loose control of the car, maybe he fainted, or even had heart attack or stroke, nobody will never know.

Today it is 10.12 and only now learned that the man who so brilliantly led the LFA on the Nordschleife, and helped to create this wonderful car (my personal dream, right next to the GT-R) is dead. He died like an ordinary driver, but no doubt for Toyota / Lexus was a man priceless. And for all the world a priceless supercars.
