This dance, called the Binghamton Stick Dance, comes from the Binghamton Morris Men and was created in 1974 in the Bampton style. Your version differs somewhat from what was originally created and what is danced now by that team. Perhaps the biggest differences are (1) the order of figures (Foot-up, 1/2 gyp, whole gyp, rounds) and (2) during rounds, danced as the final figure with an all-in at the end, the music changes to the major key version of Cuckoo's Nest (Illmington "A" music).
You're absolutely right: we know that Bampton doesn't (or didn't) have a stick dance. Our informant, Carl Dreher of Dallas, TX, was quick to tell us that this particular stick dance was a new dance--Tony Barrand in his "Six Fools" book talks about this one too.
There's just one thing though... I am one of the Traditional Bampton Morris Dancers team from Bampton in Oxfordshire in England and I am not aware of any stick dances.
Admittedly, we are Johnny-come-latelys having only been around for about 500 years or so (not personally, although it feels like it sometimes...), so I could be wrong! :-)
