You can absolutely sing.  No question about that. I just wanted more. More fire, more passion. Think about what the tune is really saying. That'll help you to infuse the meaning it needs. The key choice got funny in the second verse. Also, you blew some of the words throughout. I sing it in a higher key when I do it. The tune just doesn't work in this key at all. It kind of belongs where it is and it's hard to move it too far down without the tune losing it's magic. Just my $.02

I am not worried about the key changes because everyone can not sign accapello, but I wish you would try the song with emotion. You're cute you know it and now you are trying to sing so less modeling and think about what it is you are saying. Those are some deepest lyrics I have ever read, and when thought about, can evoke a bounty of emotions, yet you sang that song like you calling someone to have lunch.

It's good that young people are enjoying real music of back in the day...Luther, Stevie, Peobo Bryson, Donny Hathaway, Phyllis Hyman, Gladys Knight, and so many others...and don't be afraid that friends will call you jive, because all the old music is being sampled on this junk these people are singing and playing in music these days.
