The graphics looked hoorible for both resistance 1 and 2, plus the guns were slow and awful in the first game, environment sucked donkey dick compared to the actual original resistance at e3, they really ruined it. The successors to the PS3 and 360 are probably going to end up looking like some of these pre-rendered trailers, hopefully. It's always nice to see technological innovations on top of having new and unique game design concepts. The two should co-exist together.

Actually most ports from 360 have worse graphics. Notable ones would be GTA IV and Fallout 3. Only ones that are released years after the 360 ones have somewhat improved graphics, like oblivion. But yeh, only the exclusives really show the power of the ps3

Type in "GTA4 Comparison PS3 360 HD" and you'll see with your own eyes that GTA4's street is clearly sharper & more detailed on PS3 & watery glow and shadows on beach for example being better on PS3, so is the draw-distance & loading breaks less in Oblivion.

I agree though, Fallout 3 is a bad port, because of it's bugs etc. Hopefully they'll fix those once the DLCs come out on PSN which is supposed to happen soon.

I agree about exclusives though.

actually 360 cant do 1080P its upscaled so its not true 1080P. its like when i ps3 upscales a normal dvd to 1080P and you compare that to the same movie in blueray so they are both in 1080P. but blueray will look better because its not upscaled its true 1080P upscaling isnt 1080P. putting some games to 1080P can also cauze frame rate drops and stuff so you wont see many games on ps3 in 1080P. but god of war 3 is going to be full 1080P ! wipe out HD is 1080P 60fps. war devil is also

At least 360 has hardware upscaler. All* multiplatform games on PS3 is in 720p (or less upscaled to 720p). And you can see some graphical artifacts with any good FullHD TV on your PS3 (native res.) and not with your Xbox 360. Just look closely.

FPS, textures and resolution are always higher/better in 360 versions and all this glory can be upscaled to native TV resolution without losing a bit of a framerate..

If you find mult. game which runs in 1080p on PS3, 360 ver, will still be better (AA).

all wat you just siad is total BS go play whipe out HD its in 1080P 60FPS or better yet actually go buy a ps3. killzone 2 textures are very good better than any FPS textures iv seen on xbox. Ps3s main menu is 1080P native with 0 pixelation no matter how close you look at it. xbox 360 menu is wat like 720P. any ps3 game with 3d runs at 1080p but true most games run at 720p but its native most xbox games run a 420p and are al upsccaled, 1080p dosent fit most games anyways , 720 is the way to go imo

It's not the PS3 that didn't make the graphics look like the 'E3 '05 ones. It's mostly the game developers. They didn't know how to make the games on blu ray good yet. Now they are getting better at it. Look at MGS4, Killzone 2, MLB 09 the Show for proof.
