the thing that was fucking awesome about dime that was different than a lot of guitar players today is that he wouldn't just solo with total silence for 2 hours straight. he can be right in the middle of a solo and start actually playing a riff, or shit from another song, and whether vince plays with him or not he was able to mix it up differently than most guitarists. he was a fucking god and so is vinnie.
