I loved it when James released 3 versions of a single. each with 3 trax so you got 7 trax for 5.97 if my maths is correct. I still have all of them in my dusty attic in Uk so good to hear them again on youtube
@isaacincabo Thanks for your great comment. This song is utterly amazing. I reckon the only place you'll ever find this song is by buying the Waltzing Along single, it was one of its B sides. You'll probably find copies on E bay for about a f£5 :)
Wow, amazing, thank you so much for sharing! I'm extremely jealous...As I didn't discover James til about '96 (being quite young) I missed a lot of their early singles and therefore B-sides, so it's a real joy to hear this.
James' best song for me. Bleak, sexy, darkly comic and uplifting. Never judge quality on the basis of a youtube hit count. Odd this was never released.

great to find James stuff I havent heard . Not sure the chorus is up to james best standards of enlightened and uplifting lyrics . Ill have to listen to some of these other less known songs

Agree with every word you say - it's such a wonderful euphony, except I'd still put 'The Lake' marginally ahead as their best-ever B side.
Please keep rifling through you collection - hopefully you'll discover one or two more gems like this!
