When the father gorilla reached out and nudged the yoiung one away from the person, it reminded me of my father and I in the grocery store or anywhere when I was a young boy.
Killing a gorilla should be considered murder. If people cannot see the similarities between gorilla behavior and facial expressions, then they just dont want to see it. Like it or not, gorillas are our relatives.
I can totally believe how amazing that experience must have been, but I really do not like to see gorilla's being so used to humans. This could be dangerous to them at any point whether it be by tourists giving them bad things to eat or them running into poachers...
after all the bad things humans did to them and they are smart enough to know what we did and still they dont attack, what loving creatures wish humans are more like this.
Now just because you got away with it this time don't go on a thinking like your Jane Goodall or Dr. Doolittle. You'll end up like the guy who had to film the lions while they were eating.
Amazing encounter with humans in a wild envorinment - LOVE it! So happy you are able to share such a special moment in time! Keep traveling there are more wonderful adventures out in this glorious world of ours. Katie (Twitter - Travelbabe)
