@bkbj95 Didn't realize it until I put the new head on, but it sounded bad. I always thought that it just wasn't all that nice of a banjo. The head made a world of difference.

@1chuckell I had a guy at a music store tell me that only experts should adjust a banjo, which of course was enough to get me to take mine apart...

@1chuckell I tried that and it really brought my old wood-pot, no tone ring banjo to life. Brightened it up quite a bit. Thanks for the tip.

the worn spot looks good the only bad thing is only the rips....as long as it sounds good it's good
