  • Japanese cops are still better with motorcycles. lol

  • @kenny2923 let's see them do it on a H-D Road king tho.

  • but he cant do it with 20inch apes!

  • i am not running from those guys

  • Looks like all you have to do is knee down a couple corners and they wont be able to keep up lol. They would lowside.

  • SHIPS UHAUHAUHAUHAUHA

  • Nice course, but needs to incorporate some tazing and billy club striking routines for more reality.

  • great skills, couldn't pull that off on my smaller and more nimble bike... too bad these guys don't teach a class.

  • maybe there's a reason they don't offer the class :) -- but seriously, they have crazy track time

  • all clutch, throttle, and rear brake....tight turns are made with a balance of all of those combined....Harley offers an advanced riders course to police officers and public

  • Nice riding for sure. Looks like they just turn the whole time scraping the pegs on the ground - it's a nice measure for knowing the perfect turn angle.

  • You see these guy's in your mirror with their lights on it's over .

  • i agree my moms cousin tryied to run from a police motorcycle didnt work to well

  • OMG, Amazing

  • Holy crap they can ride.

  • The best part is it's on an FLH frame not known for there lean angle and handleing ...like cops or not that is some great rideing. And as far as the Jap cops go totally different bikes and road conditions they don't ride Harleys...But the civilian population will sell their soul for a hog I know I was stationed there ...

  • boooa respect

  • that is pretty cool. anybody who rides really appreciates the skill it takes to do something that.

  • how did they fit those bikes through some of those cones that are so close together??? Nice riding!

  • Jolinnnnnn

  • Simply Fantastic !

You've my admiration. That's knowning how to ride and control your iron horse. Congratulations Man

  • CHIPS

  • Instead of complaining about the bikes, or comparing them to the Japanese, lets all admit that they ride well and learn from them.

    1. Watch where their eyes are looking, and see where they are going. They're looking through the turn, and up.

    2. Listen to how they are using the friction zone with their clutch.

    3. You can see their brake light on during the clutching process for the turns. The rear brake provides stability in low speed turns.

    4. Watch how they counterbalance during the turns.

  • that will make you think twice about runing thats awsome that bike has to be about 900-1000 pounds at slow speed incredible

  • Every biker should be able to go to that school to get those survival skillz on!

  • police need sport bikes... and high speed avoidance training. i guess that means more work for us? i take all that back lol

  • those officers have some skills. remember, these guys are on loping harleys, and they're still turning tighter figure 8s than most sportbike riders could....

  • The scraping sound is the floorboards rubbing on the pavement, not the pipes, though it sure looks like the pipes get really close to touching.

  • masterdep and mail4mail, close but no cigar. The scraping sound is the floorboards rubbing on the pavement.

  • nice riding skillz here , but yeah your right mail4male the pipes are scratching the ground ^^

  • nice lean machine

  • wow, that guys good. I just posted my video from this competition yesterday!

  • you could hear his pipe scratching against the asphalt!

    that's on a harley!

  • fanbloodytastic handling of a large cruiser, Exellent work Guys

  • Awsome. Never seen anything like it!

  • wow...... perfect.......can't get much better than that

  • Why would any police force outside the America want Harley police bikes.? State funerals? Old technology, slow and no match for Honda ST1100. Take a look at the acceleration response and handling on Japanese motorcycle cops clip.

  • I agree.. This is totally lame. Check out the Japanese cops on their Japanese bikes.

  • Different bikes are geared towards differnt things. The japanese officers are of smaller size as well are the streets of japan. So they need small nimble bikes in order to get around. In the united states people tend to be larger and riding a bike like that with a full duty belt gets uncomforatble plus the harleys are geared for american highways. Not to mention their place as an american icon.

  • FLOORBOARDS ARE WHATS HITING ASPHALT

  • Strange that they keep dabbing the throttle and using a lot of front brake.... the exact opposite to what my instructor tells me to do. Cant take it awy from these guys... sheer class.

Video is ruined a bit by that lame music.

  • never run from a motorcycle cop.

  • Skilled riding; The Japanese cops are the best Ive seen

  • NOT ON HARLEYS THEIR NOT!

  • very nice, looks like learned from me! hahaah

look at my videos!!! amongst them, theres one in a ULTRACLASSIC mid traffic @ SAO PAULO... rid and videoed

  • How do they control such big bikes - I'm suposing throtle control, Eye direction and balance. Just as you would a smaller bike only the bigger ones are less forgiving I supose:P

And if there is anything I've missed then please do post it up here.

  • It's a matter of getting the right training and practicing. And practicing. And practicing:) I'll post some training video I made for the purpose of seeing what I had to work on.

  • check out the Japanese Motorcycle Cop video on here... equally as impressive!

  • Great skills being used and worthy winners over their machines and cones

  • jep, great ride, they know their machine, in slovenia-Europe we ride similar with BMW 1150 rt

  • Wow.How they control huge bike like that!

  • a few pic's from this were shown in a uk biking mag, amazingly skilled rider and high and low speed

  • really? do you know which one and/or what issue? I'm sure the guys around here would love to know about it. Thanks for all the comments guys, it was fun being there, wish I could handle my sportbike on a course like that!

  • Head and eyes

  • WOW, freaking awesome

  • Slow speed High Level riding skills displayed.

  • Don't try this at home.. :)
