It is a mean of governing the country,Religions are something used to controll people's behaviour and thought.Unfortunately,it's being abused as an excuse of Sexism,Racism, and Discrimination Based on Age.Wake up ...
I'm a Polytheist but I truely believe in my mind heart body and soul that we should put an ATHIEST as president. In that way, we know religion isn't fucking anyone over.
Mitchell Gold raises a question that matters to every American who believes, as did the framers of our Constitution, that the best way to preserve religious as well as personal freedom is to respect the separation of church and state. The freedom to marry belongs to all. Government should not tell any religions whom they must marry in their houses of worship, nor should any religion dictate who gets a legal marriage license from the government.
You are right, but I believe states should decide marriage for themselves. However, the American people aren't mature enough to accept that, and sadly, people are being hurt and discriminated because of that fact.
This guy (Mitchell Gold) works non-stop to bring civil rights to every American, and he deserves our admiration. This nation is built on the U. S. Constitution...not the King James Bible. Hold your faith close to your heart, but never use it to hurt people or tamper with their civil rights. Thank you, Mr. Gold.
Excellent, thoughtful question from a man who does everything he can—every day—to make the world a better place. We need more committed citizens like Mitchell Gold.
I would love to see politicians address this issue head-on. Are there two Americas and two Constitutions, or are we one nation, indivisible for liberty and justice for all?
Unfortuantely this is a business man who is honestly more concerned about promoting himself and his adgenda than he is concerned true fairness. He is much more unfair to the Christians who work for him and have accepted him through the years than they are to him.
As a mother with a beloved gay son .... I hope the candidates take this message to heart. It seems so simple to me .... we must start treating everyone as we ourselves want to be treated ... with equality.
This is exactly the type of question we need: it places religion and state in the crosshairs of discussion along with equality for minorities. It's a succinct, smart debate question.
Excellent Point! Seems I recall the Bible as justification for racial discrimination in the 60's... now once again it is being used to justify intolerance and unconstitutionasl denial of equal rights...
Had to create Youtube account to post that I think this question is brilliant. It was that brilliant. And YouTube has a new registered user. I hope the CNN producers and youtube take note...
Mitchell, like Rev. Longcrier you are helping to keep the conversation honest and real. Thanks for asking the candidates this question. I hope CNN & YouTube don't pass it up. This is a real question that affects real people. As a gay American, this is the type of questioning that I seek to hear from the candidates. Thanks for being a progessive leader for LGBT Americans and all people. You Rock!!
You go Mitchell! You, Bob, and your company absolutely ROCK! Thanks for standing up, having a voice, and not being afraid to use it....and kisses to Lulu!

This is excellent. I like how this one is framed much better than the earlier video you had pointed us to by the reverend.
