Looks like a Devil May Cryish gameplay rather than Kingdom Hearts.... Can't wait for the "OMG who would win between Dante and Noctus!?!!1!" debates lol. Seems interesting though...I'll wait for the reviews. A lot of final fantasy fans will NOT like this game. too far from its roots. Complete urban atmosphere. Platform gameplay. So far no Chocobos or Moogles. Doesn't have that "fantasy" feel. This game is purposely being made for the Western gamers. I think it will do very good in NA, shit in JPN

The setting is very FF actually, this game is damn near an indirect sequel to FF8. Fantasy/Sci setting, silent protagonist, and unwilling love interest. This Final Fantasy doesn't follow the sequential order so it's not technically in the main line of the series-- most games in the Ivalice alliance weren't-- so most fans will excuse it being different. Look at FF Tactics, completely different from it's predecessors with the FF title and is one of the best in the series.

Square Enix needs to get it through they're heads that we need a final fantasy game that lets us make our own character our own clothes for that character our own weapons for that character and make a large amount of character classes that suit the weapons and that it needs to be an online game because thats the only way to do it we need to be able to make a character like cloud or sephiroth we can make our own story lines for our own characters And now with this gameplay they can make it
