@DanielSmoove The new model will be fitted with a higher resolution screen and based on the last two iterations I'd say Polaris will still be licensed to Asus, so you may not need to wait - the current model with Tegra 3 and its current casing is hard to beat.
Guys it is called the Waiting Game. Patience is a virtue in tech race. This is why I am glad there is Android. I will never be duped into being an early adopter. We should have learned this by now. When the iPad 3 gets announced/released you know the time to move is near. ASUS Transformer Prime: TF700T I hope for stereo speakers 1080p HD video @ 30 & 60fps modes with digital zoom & narrow or wide fields @ $100 more it should be 64 GB right out of the box with 64GB micro SD card expansion
@avivch1111 Same here! We hear rumours of the Galaxy S3 and can't I'm keen to see what they have on the plans for Tegra 3 and potentially ARM Windows 8 product.
my question is: does the tf700 also have an IPS+ display? the tf201 screen is called the best out there, so everything else would be a set back I guess.
@Satcho008 That is my understanding, that the TF700 series will be IPS+ AND have the high def resolution. That will definitely be industry best when it comes out unless another vendor pulls a magic trick out of their hat... and this is the IT industry so anything is possible.
Hello, thanks for another great video! Could you help me? I know you're not the best person to ask this sort of thing but, do you have any idea when more stock will reach the UK? I know ASUS have said a few weeks but seriously, how long is a few weeks in ASUS's book? :/
Thank you very much and it's okay if you don't know :)
@InsaneDubstepKK Hey there again! We just saw the first lot start to land in Australia and we hear the stock is very limited. I don't have contacts in the UK so I can't confirm for you I'm afraid.
Did you get any info about the gps/wifi capabilities. I was hoping that plastic strip would improve wifi and/or gps. Especially after GPS on the TF201 was so bad that Asus took it off the specification list.
@ben1172 We did, but this is the new series due out later this year. We like the Prime and think it's one of the best Android tablets out there. For school, nothing beats a keyboard when you need it and a touch screen when you don't. Battery life is also a big plus.
@malbebeler I'd say wait about a month for the initial rush for the tablet has died down and see if ASUS announces anything in regards to a new design or fix for the current model. My guess is that they're not doing anything about the current issues publicly yet until the demand has died down (EVERYWHERE is out of stock at the minute) and until they have been able to fix the problems themselves, no point saying you'll fix them and not actually being able to yourself.
@Moothead2 We will have a Prime shortly to help look at some of the feedback that has been left on our site and our YouTube channel. Look for some new content in the next few days.
I would assume the black plastic on the back is to fix the previous wifi issues. I did like the spun back but im sure everyone would rather have a decent wifi signal instead.
Would be awesome to get a ritchies room look at the new asus memo tegra3 7" tab when it comes out.
@srrobrob We did see the 7" tegra 3 but it was fixed in a bracket and couldn't really do a proper video on it. Asus will provide one at the appropriate time I'm sure.
I was planning on buying Transformer Prime, but now it's been said that the tablet has some issues with Wi-fi and GPS. Do you think I should wait for this one or buy the Prime anyway? I wonder will Asus change the design of the Prime's that are on the market, if that is the case I dont its a good idea to buy the Prime. Thanks for the reply...
@malbebeler If you go to our website you'll see a lot of discussion on this issue, and those that have it don't have huge issues with the Wi-Fi - Asus has admitted some problems with GPS but most people won't use it for navigation. The new Prime does have a simpler back cover. My first impressions on design is I like the current Prime with it's "zenbook" inspired materials.
Hm, Asus is really going on ahead with these transformers. I'm probably not going to buy one any time soon, but I can see myself in the future using one of these in a coffee shop watching youtube videos, doing my homework, or checking my facebook/google plus notifications.
I am planning on getting the prime. Should I wait for the new model or will I be pleased. I am mostly looking for production with Polaris office?

@daknappkin Not sure on sound but I'd say it would be using the same Sonicmaster technology which is on the current Prime.

@CrittyWitty My guess is those changes will help get GPS back on the spec list. No word on actual performance at this stage.

same as tf201t + 2MP FF HD camera, and 1080p SIPS+ screen. Different back cover to tackle the reports on GPS not behaving at its best.

@steliospitsillides In essence yes that is some of the improvements but no word on processor or other hardware tweaks.

@RitchiesRoomTV that's because there aren't any.

@Satcho008 From what I've read, yes it does have a super ips+ screen.

The question is, if the new res screen is also a super IPS+ panel/screen or something else?
Satcho008 1 month ago
@Satcho008 they didn't clarify, but with that resolution an IPS+ screen would be pretty awesome.
