This is some what I will be going through on the 23 of next month...I had to do a 4hr. class yesterday for total knee replacement...looking @ this clip. here is my ? FB. fam. should I be awake with an Epidural,& be druged out, or just be knocked the F@#% out...do know much about Epidurals but a shot in the spine scares me...I know the clip is nasty but I would be grateful for any suggestions ... thanks

i'm 27 and have had bilateral acl reconstruction surgeries, owing both of them to the wonderful sport of wrestling. i just recently tore my lateral meniscus (car accident) and am due up for athroscopic surgery. i cannot help but think that i will be a candidate for a surgery like this one day. it does make me happy, however, to know that medicine is rapidly evolving and hell, i may have bionic knees that truly and realistically are better than "nature's" knees.

Awesome! Hy uncle has two titanium knees. He says they're better than real knees. He did a 70 mile bike ride on his 70th birthday with them.
