This was a helpful video. I have a young pony I want to start to eventually pull a cart. I'm assuming that your training method is that release of pressure = reward, but it would have been nice to hear some verbal praise when the horse does what she is asked (just my humble opinion). Thank you for posting this...great info!
wow this will really help with my filly, wish i had this resource before i sold my gelding that i couldn't train to steer properly! are there any alternates to using a saddle with stirrups to hold the lines? i don't want to buy a saddle for my filly just yet but want to start on the ground driving. thanks!
Thanks for putting this on youtube!! I am just starting to do this with my gelding, and I needed some ideas on how to start this with him. Thanks again = )
I have tried this with my young filly before, but she absolutely would not move forward, even with a little whip encouragement. Any suggestions?

I cant tell. Is this filly wearing only a halter, or a bridle with bit?

In this video the horse is just wearing a halter.

Nice to see teaching videos that show what to do when everything doesn't go perfect, because it never does!
