the recorder is one of the few instruments left that relies entirely on the performers ability. no reeds, no padded keys no ligatures, only wind. not even the flute can claim this now. A beautiful performace.

Someone with an oboe! I love Michala Petri and always have, and I am a recorder player...but this is definitely a piece for a superior instrument.

Congratulations to Michala Petri, almost 40 years on stage and still going strong.
Who else can play a slow movement so touching and beautifully. Her phrasing and breathing-technique is absolutely unique in the recorder world. May you go on to play for many years to come and touch our hearts with your music. Thank you for this present.....
