i'm sorry to here that, man. i almost lost a friend to heroin. we use to just smoke weed all the time then it escalated to doing coke and oxys, and when my friend couldn't afford oxys, he started doing heroin. he was only 18, i was 17. he did hit rock bottom, and that knocked some sense into him, he's been clean for 1 year, 2 monthes now, still smokes a little bit of pot, but not nearly as much as we did back in the day. but, anyway, i hope your friend gets the help they need.

Do what you can. One can try everything they want to help a friend but the friend has to want the help. My uncle dropped dead in front of my mom as he came out of his house to greet her from drug abuse as she was bringing him a Christmas gift one year. I just found this out a few months back. My addiction was Copenhagen snuff tobacco (over 30 years). Until I REALLY saw it as an addiction I couldnt quit. One day I did, I quit cold turkey, no gum,patch etc and beat it. That was 3 1/2 years ago.

Prison in 04, got out in 06 on a technicality. and havent touched it since. I've smoked a little weed. but now I am 8 months clean on it too. I am happy to finally be clean 100 percent. It's harder to get up and arround now. I was used to running 500 miles an hour day in and day out. There are all kinds of addictions. I have a friend who is a shopaholic and hoarder. That may not sound serious, but she spends two grand a month, on a small income, just to Store the junk she's bought. Now she has to beg friends and family for money to buy and store junk, just like a junkie. Her house is so stuffed with junk, ten feet high, you can't walk through it. There is one tiny path to the kitchen, and you have to walk sideways. You can't sit down Anywhere. Same denial as addicts, too.

My brother went through that. His was coke and he slipped up over the years and backslide, but the only thing that helped him was breaking apart and moving away from the people who he was using with.  So, maybe your friend can be taken away from her using friends. I think that's the only thing to help her. I wish you the best as you help her to deal with it. God bless.

Yes my Godmother is on Meth. She went from 300 pounds down too 145 in two years. She has changed. Even though she lost the weight she looking like she is dead and pale. She says mean things all the time. She pisses people off. I don't know what too do. She is in denial. She told me I needed meth too because I am a larger woman.
