hey since your natural, how soon does your natural hair start to poke out of the twists? when you wash your senegalese twists, does your natural hair puff out really bad? I'm thinking about getting single braids or twists while transitioning.
i'' really like if u can give me the # of the person who did youur hair. i want my rope twisted but it a big deal for me to find the right person. cause i dont like not feeling confortable with my twisted.
I love your twists! I have the same type in my hair right now. I decided to get them as a precursor to finally going natural. Problem is that they're starting to look not so cute and I'm not sure how to wash them. I'm in Singapore right now so I don't know where to get any of the correct products. I was thinking of washing them gently with a regular shampoo/conditioner. I asked my stylist and she said I shouldn't get them wet AT ALL otherwise they'll puff up and be ruined. What should I do?
@DeadDanny15 well my advice would be to dilute your regular supplies with water so that they're more "liquidy " also concentrate only on your scalp. now im giving you this advice based on my twist because they have never puffed up from me washing them. also check out my twist styling video for some new style idea. hope this helps!
@bluegemz26 no it really doesnt...i choose to take my time so its usually about a 4 day process...2days for the middle, 1 day for the back and the last day for the front
when you wash out your shampoo while the twists are in ..do you blow dry the twists or just avoid getting the actual twists wet? if so how? (hope i worded that right lol)
can you make your ends crinkly like braid it and dip it in hot water ... cause im going natural and i think these are better to get then micros and i want them really small but i love wavy crinkly hair thats why i was going to get micros but i love these i like how small they are
@09Bossladiie yes you can...check out my other video about that (rope/senegalese twist styles) also keep a look out for my page b.c im natural as well and i'll be having some videos about my natural hair coming soon.
@dustgirl07 no i didn't ask for a specific size, but she has been doing my hair for well over 5yrs so she knows what i like. but just tell whoever is doing your hair exactly what you want.
@MUSiKisMIIsoul not exactly, i've been going to her for about 6-7 years now getting this same style so she knows what i like. but definitely tell your stylist what size you want
@Flychicka100 grease application:finger part my hair, take a little grease on my index finger and run it through the part, then massage it in my entire head when im completely done. wash: when my hair is in twist about once a mth. with out twist shampoo wash once a wk and co-wash twice a wkm(part of my new regimen)
@Urnombreaqui um i guess you could say professionally done. she does hair at her house, but its her business, she does hair 6 days a wk 1-2 clients a day, and this was i believe 4 packs.
Your twist look very nice. I never really like them but I like yours I think its because of the size. Looks great and keep up the good work. GREAT VIDEO (^_^)

I usually get my braids curled so I just put it in 2 braids and sleep like that, but now I need to keep my single braids straight straight.
