My sister caught swine flu from a friend last week. She is 4 months pregnant and had to be taken to hospital because she could hardly breathe. Thankfully, she did not lose the baby and did not die.
But this doesn't mean pregnant women can ignore this virus. It can, and has, killed people.
And a dose of poison, springs to mind.
Still, saying that, so far, unlike years ago in Japan, maybe the dose is different.
As I type this, sneezing violently, cold again, as doubt it's my allgery.
They get us one way or the other anyway.
After all, if one has to reduce as porrit said, the population to 30 million by whatever date, obvious something has to happen.
