when i hear this, it reminds me of Earl Campbell running the ball for the Houston Oilers (if you don't know him, check out the Earl Campbell highlights video or the Earl Campbell headbutt video -the 2:15 mark--headbutting Isaiah Robertson of the Rams into next week--then 2:30 he takes a vicious hit from Jack (the Assassin) Tatum and brushes it off as he goes into the end zone. He was sooo amazing: the first true "beast" of a running back.---amazing music for highlights.
Back in Ohio - 5th grade, - 4 on 4 - with a purple Nerf football; on the hallowed wind blown fields of old elementary school. I was there - and so were Staubach, Bradshaw, Tarkenton - I played with them every day; Charlie Taylor catching bombs from Billy Kilmer; Ken Houston picking off Kenny Stabler and returning it for a TD; Greg Pruitt and Larry Brown putting the moves on; Fred Biletnikoff catching a touchdown in the last flicker of daylight. I miss them.
Fuck Eric Lapointe and Chunky soup the ex running back from Alouettes in CFL..that suck. one of the original (NFL) song I love this powerfull song. Is freaking me out ! :P
This is a game where heroes fall, and legends are victories. On battlegrounds such as the frozen tundra, the windy city, and warmer climates such as la coliseum. Eleven men are on the pursuit for one goal, the chance to hold the Vince Lombardi trophy, one for the ages!!
Do you all think I could have wrote for NFL films, haha!!
"The Broncos passed out gifts like a department store Santa, and the hustling Cowboys gleefully scooped up the goodies."--John Facenda from Super Bowl XII. I'll remember that until the day I die lol

This seems like a FB song, understated but present; he's the guy who says "sure coach, lets do this" and then he does.
Not a team leader but a team backbone.

@MrRazzyrazz As a big Landry Cowboys fan I'm glad this evokes those memories, but this song was written for the men in the trenches, the lineman.
