Jelousy is a very good thing for God to have. Its like if your a dad of your son and he calls someone eles his dad. You love your son so much that you wouldnt want him to call anyone his dad but you. Thats the way God works to. So in this case jelousy is a beautiful thing, its different that envyious of someones house or wife or car. Its a different meaning.

You say that you dont think G-d is perfect...because he says hes jealous...I believe G-d says that for our own good so that we wont stray to idols and thus bring a curse on ourselves....its like with a wife who cheats on her husband.....G-d loves us and doesnt want us going to false so called gods....Just my belief
"Gd is not Perfect": I always wondered about him saying "jelous" and how he got upset and punished people. It seemed too human(but then again, he made us in his "image"). I wonder if he speaks through the messenger and "borrows" on how the messenger speaks or thinks. Or how the instrument perceives his intense voice/source. He never uses word or concepts that are too hard to understand. As if the source/audience is the limited that needs to develope to understand.
