The People's Bank of China (PBOC), the central bank, said Monday that it has signed a 25-billion-yuan ($3.83 billion) currency swap agreement with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.

Construction workers will in this year finish rebuilding 62 Tibetan monasteries damaged in last year's 7.1-magnitude earthquake that leveled the plateau county of Yushu in northwest China, a local government official said Sunday.
Main structures of the other 25 monasteries will also be completed by the end of 2011, as the reconstruction is in full swing, said Wang Yuhu, head of the prefecture government of Yushu, Qinghai Province.

If you get into Falun Gong and feel the benefits I think you are unlikely to give up completely.
I've tried all sorts of exercise and NOTHING comes REMOTELY close to being as beneficial as the FG exercises. Skiing and skateboarding are lots of fun at the start but you probably get bored with them eventually.

I felt sorry for you too. most of the Chinese students studying abroad using their own logics, collecting evidences, combining them with their own experiences from china to make a informed judgement which is we Chinese don't support everything CCP have done, but how they done on Tibet. you don't have more evidence than we do, and you don't have more experience , and you don't have more I-Q than we do, then how can we be brain-washed. videos can be biased, really depends on who made them.

Well, when youtube was accessible in china, there used to be so much more spammers/trolls but now that its blocked, a lot less employees typing away. Image gained without being genuine, is worthless in the eyes of the truth.

Tibet before 1950 was a “backward society” and its institutions were imperfect.
No one ever said Tibet before 1950 was a paradise.
I don’t think any Tibetan, inside Tibet or outside, even in their wildest dreams, would want to restore the old system intact.
But I have managed to transplant this old system to Dharamsala where I am still the God King of my serfs!
On the other hand, the Chinese government’s widespread claims that old Tibet was a kind of hell are completely true.
