I see several comments about how weak the Ottomans were. But why did they conquer and hold their territory for 600 years? The ottoman soldiers weren't so heavily armored like the European armies. why did they still win? I see people insulting Turks, with their fantasy-history, read books, do research on the internet. I read several comments about how stupid the ottomans were, and weak , but read books written by real history, the battle of Mohac was because hungary was supported by the germans back than, so the young king of hungary started insulting the sultan. so the sultan marched against hungary. Hungary's army heavily armored plus heavy cavarly were equal in numbers. But a fake rout made the king charge in to the clever trap of the Ottomans, they claimed their victory with honor

The Ottomans faught against the Kingdom of Hungary, Kingdom of Croatia, Kingdom of Poland, Kingdom of Bohemia, Holy Roman Empire and the Holy League in the battle of Mohac. There were arround 50.000 Turks against 80.000 opponents and you got slaughtered (historical fact look it up)!

@celebration81 The video is well made considering the limitations he is facing except for the part where a HRE army is lacking which would represent the holy league which also participated in the battle. For how the Hungarian army is presented he cant do anything about it, since thats how the TOTAL WAR people made it. Az a baj, hogy Horvátország már hamarabb volt, mint Magyarország. I. (szent) László szerezte meg a horvát trónt, mindaddig volt Horvátország. Tehát nem 1991-ben jött létre, olyannyira nem, hogy sosem volt része a közös 800 év alatt Magyarországnak Horvátország, hanem a Szent Korona Országainak egy országa. Croatians did participate, of course, since Hungarian king was also the King of Croatia, so we had to. But it was definitely a Hungarian-Ottoman battle. After all, Croatia did survive the battle, and our capital never fell to Ottomans. We have to thank the Habsburgs for that but we also were the buffer between Ottomans and Europe for the next 100 years or so. Hence the nickname "antemuralis christianum".

Croats fought in this battle thanks for support. But it was Hungary-Czechs VS Ottomans , because Ludvík Jagelonský was hungary and czech king. Thanks to this battle and king dead habsburg sit at our throne and add Czech kingdom to their monarchy. 1526-1918 we were oppressing and re-germanized.Our king had protect land only alone , used by west like anti-bouncer against muslims. 1526 last year of Czech kingdom , free will , our heritage.
