great set of videos, you really helping me understand how to use div tags and using this layout and editing it myself I have built two websites for two local shops where i live. thank you :) are you likely to do anymore types of tutorials?
i use simply notepad to build a whole style...never used dreamviewer or any such s/w's . A person who builds from scratch obviously gets better knowledge .
i think the video explained the working of DW but not exactly what css and divs meant. anyways...
You may get more knowledge building by hand, but tools are used to make things easier.
I find using a tool like Dreamweaver means that one can see the effect of the changes immediately, rather than having to save the page and look in a web browser. You also do not need to remember the exact syntax or spellings because Dreamweaver will create the code for you.
I used notepad in '94, but would not wish to now.
This way works well for my students (age 12 to 13).
Excellent, finally the mysteries of div tags are explained. I kind of understood the theory but never really got it until now. Thanks mate, really good, clear explanation.
