Hi there, Martijn,

I always wonder how to create a smooth surface when printing in 3D,

Are there any requirement on the set up of the printing ? Say, 0.35 layer thinkness.

@farkaswatch1970 It's not wax, it's either ABS or PLA, my guess is ABS

what are the sci-fi sounds? I hear this in many Ultimaker movies on youtube. does it come from the printer?

@wuilus83 The sounds are made by the stepper motor, the pitch is related to motor speed.
