  • They're egg-beaters.

  • @StealthShooter1029 egg beaters are fives

  • @FLiPGeNTuRdL3 My bad, I'm on a bassline so I don't know a whole lot haha.

  • 10k worth of cymbals! DRUMGASM!

  • @TheJosher1959 more like 1k lol, just check on cymbalsonly(dot)com if you don't believe me. Still a drumgasm! :P

  • sooo 16th note triplets. You should tell us that brah....

  • HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT?! I CANT EVEN DO THE DOUBLE STROKE.

  • I'm so happy I found your channel THANK YOU, when I am better physically I'm going to start lessons :)

    Petra

  • not seeing too many applications with this just saying

  • im really sorry but your striking technique is AWFULL

  • How can i get a job at this website?

  • It's way easier in triplets.

  • i hate your camera angles, I need you to stay over the head, not looking from the front, how the hell can i see anything from the front?! grrrr

  • yes master..

  • NICE !! USELESS..

  • That's pointless. Just use singles and doubles. Seriously, if you are starting out as a drummer, don't even bother with this, you'll never use it. Everything is singles and doubles.

  • @Fuhhrealluke Wrong. Learning triple stroke is a great way to pick up the fundamentals of the moeller stroke, an extremely useful 3 hit stroke. Check out guys like tony royster jr, who is able to speed around a kit like few can by using efficient triple strokes.

  • @Kokashiba Moeller is far different than triple stroke, this video is showing people to do three individual strokes, which will slow down your playing. And moeller is usually a jazz technique, even so, many, like Buddy Rich will almost always use singles and doubles, just alternating leading hands. Things like 'rllrrl' are a what most will use to get fast triplets.

  • @Fuhhrealluke - Moeller is not a Jazz technique it's a military drum technique. When it was developed there wasn't even ragtime or big band. Don't be upset but you are incorrect. And Moeller didn't invent 'the Moeller technique'. He observed others playing what we know today as the 'Moeller Technique'. He gets credit for it because if his excellent observations and preservation and procurement of military drummers!

  • I thought your name is Leonidas.

  • oh gawd that looks hard

  • i like ur playing dude! Ignore those other ppl!

  • good playing but i feel sorry for that nice chair...;)

  • @Kairiri1 theres an epidemic of fucking retards like you on the internet.. who cares how he looks

  • @Kairiri1 im just kiddin man relax... im a drummer myself and i know that its not about how someone looks like... so just calm down...lol

  • @dtigers27 good story jackass

  • I fricking love this guy. He reminds me of my first drum teacher. He smelled like cigarettes and whiskey, was ornery as a Mother F**ker but could play the bejesus out of the kit.

  • he must be a god at blast beats

  • 0:50 - 1:01 I LOVE IT!

  • @muzicboy99, have you tried tightening your toms? If you play a lot they get loose very quick

  • I've been thinking is this practice really worth of it? Coz there are easier ways to play than tripplet, is it wasting ur time? Like u can do doubles and easier than triplets.

  • Great technique

  • how do u get toms to sound like that mine sound like shit

  • @muzicboy99 Step one: Buy better toms

Step two: Tune them when need

  • his fills are so weak

  • the beat sucked , and those fills are lame .... i do not want to limit what can be done on the drums but the triple stroke roll seems to be more for building up your hands as opposed to something you literally do on the drumset .

  • You should try listening to some of the older drummers from the 50's, they used triples quite a bit...The only limitation is when you only play one type of rhythm or don't expand yourself.

  • This guy plays with more authority than the blonde spikey headed guy.

  • @warplanes1 jared folk ;)

  • @warplanes1 hes with more authority than cartman!!

  • @warplanes1 LUL!

  • @warplanes1 Hes name is Jared Falk, he is awesome

  • @Kripe98drums Jared Falk is good, I have the complete Rock training system for drums and he is very clear and make the things simple to understand. I'm agree with you.

  • @Keysforge ;)

  • cool drumsound...

  • i got taught this in my 1st lesson of drum lessons lol

  • i like the lick with he 3 on the hi hat nd 3 on the ride

  • I can see where this can be hard for most drummers just starting out. it took me a while to get the triple stroke down perfect just trial an error lots of it. If you just take it slow like every other beat you learn it comes pretty quick. i would avoid using moller method just makes it harded it seems unless ur familiar with it an need to play a fast tempo. Start slow 3 bounces an you stop your sticks bouncing with ur other middle fingers. same as a double just another bounce basically

  • i wish i could bounce my sticks :( haha. its so hard!

  • it is lol it took me forever to get that whole dribbling with the fingers thing

  • uhh no?

  • thats basicly a paradiddle

  • damn, that guy is good

  • the hi hat /ride sounds brilliant. Im gonna use that one :)

  • gr8 sounding kit gr8 lesson thanks M8!

  • The overheads are C414's. The are great overheads use them all the time. Another good set would be Royer 122's

  • Why when he said, "rrrlllrrrlll," did he pause in between the transition between the two hands its supposed to be continous.

  • incredible overhead mics! anybody got a clue which they are?

  • the triple stroke beat he doess sounds pretty nice

  • To bad its not a roll. Its just a triplet-based fill-in.

  • triple stroke rolls are easy you just practice them like anything else... start off slow with 3 on a hand then gradually build up speed and see how fast you can go... next once your muscles know what to do try bouncing them and getting 3 bounces in and work from there to get it even

  • how long will it take ??

  • ele acentuou na primeira seqûência...

  • i dont get how you do it, i've been playing for 6 years and still cant

  • it just takes some practice, dude. if u can do a double stroke, you can def to a triple stroke. its just 3 bounces per hit

  • if theres one thing i hate about playing rock style music with low tuned drums, its that lack of bounce from the dam toms!

    simple but effective nice job

  • If you tune the resonant head looser than the batter, than you get a bouncier feel. :)

  • DUDE, I DO these exactly in a video of mine. It creates such a great contrast. Someone check me out and agree wholeheartedly.

  • Which one?

  • NIKO BELLIC!!!

  • he drops his pinky on the left hand. that is not good.

  • stick gets no bounce if you dont..and its hard to get faster unless you use your 3 push the stick back up, also hard to do moler motions in matched grip with out doing it either...

  • uhm okey, do you know that the muscle that controls the pinky is the strongest in the hand? but actually i just heard that watching jojo mayers dvd and jojos technique is almost flawless.

  • doing a roll, and doing the moller or the finger push are 2 different things..i dont drop my pinky at all but its not bad at all

  • Dropping the pinky altogether and following the stick's movement with the pinky are two different things. It's good to get used to keeping the pinky in light contact with the stick at all times, so that you can use its power when you need it.

  • how do you get the hand technique?

  • cool lessons! thanks!

  • i finally got it!!!!

  • Thanks

  • wow that looks hard

  • wow that looks hard

  • Hi, Why you dont use the moeller technique....?

i think you play a lot but moeller technique maybe help to you develop your appareance on stage...

    bless!

  • the triple stroke roll are tree bounces by hand or tree single strokes?

  • It depends on your speed. If your going fast you bounce, if your going slow you actually wrist it.
