  • did you actually stick to your meal plan? because i will plan something and say hey its ok its thanksgiving you can eat, and then i end up feeling so guilty and i havent even overeaten and then i throw the "plan" out the window.. and binge, and of course, purge, i hate that even the holiday memories get tainted by my ED,

  • I didn't really make a plan just yet. I've also been struggling with feeling emotions lately. Everything just doesn't matter lately. Thanksgiving is my hardest time of the year. It's even harder when I have to go visit other peoples houses to eat dinner. Do you ever get like that? Thanks for this video. If my webcam was up and working I would make a response with my new plan.

  • Ohh I actually have to agree with Singng4Him...that does sound like an eating disordered thing. Good insight, Singing...yes, please be careful about stuff like that that could easily cross over into disorder territory. *much love*

  • Ask God to be with you during the meal hun. You don't have to do the whole "second plate" thing... that sounds like an eating disorder behavior to me..

    But I think you're doing great. Love the having breakfast idea! I'm gonna do that too :)

  • Correction! I'm not 'eating disordered!' I am a person with an eating disorder.. but it doesn't define me enough to call myself eating disordered :)

Just be kind to yourself and if for some reason you end up eating more than anticpated - its okay. Have compassion for yourself. Take care.
