Poetry in motion, that's always been SSX. And for those of you complaining about the song, it works with what EA is trying to do with the series: move it forward. Keep in mind that us veterans of the game are not the main focus EA is trying to bring in, it's the newcomers. So of course, they're going to add/take away a few changes that we may/may not like.

Does it mean that this SSX will be a terrible game overall? Hell no! So enough with the complaints and let's ride once again!

I agree. I'm an avid snow boarder ,and skier. I don’t want SSX to turn into a ski simulation… I completely enjoy the over the top - bad ass - extreme - unrealistic parts the series has be known for. It’s what makes the “game” fun to play… and who knows, maybe we’ll test our boundaries on the real slopes, with a few new ideas. SSX is like a playground for real skiers… “if only / dreams / is that possible / wow, that would be fun / awesome”.
