hahahaha what a joke.. Alright those "clucks" were nothing like a hen's cluck. But to the inexperienced hunter or buyer, they'll think his words are golden and jump right on that new box call. and whats up with the "essential" tools in the woods? I got a 30 year old corncob striker and slate, along with an aged box call and i have numerous birds under my belt.

I have the quaker boy push pin yelper works awesome! shot a 261/2 pound tom and thats what brought him in.primos definitly makes great products as well I won't argue that.

@supreboog Those push-pin calls are called "idiot boxes" by some but they work!! I use mine all the time.

@KettlebottomCrew ive been tryin for a while with it now and i can get them to gobble but not get them to come in, but it is a huge id say 30 pnd tom (dead serious) so maybe hes just had some experience XD

@ethantup456 A bird that hangs up can be VERY annoying! One of the biggest mistakes is that most guys call way, way too much and the Tom knows something isn't right. If you get a good response, try going silent. Also, try scratching the ground a few times like a feeding Hen would. If you're pretty sure you won't be spotted, you can also move AWAY from the Tom by 20 or 30 yards, call again, and go silent... Good luck!!

That is John Longo. He was a host of a New England fishing show. I've seen him call in several Toms in 2 days-- one one day and about 6 on another. He is very good with a mouth call and really doesn't use other calls very often...
