I could go on and on and on. There are cities so much smaller than Roanoke that have 10X the amount of crime. I kind of wonder about that. I grew up in Roanoke and then lived in Baltimore for seventeen years. When I came back to Roanoke, I was more apprehensive on the streets in Roanoke than I was on the streets of Baltimore -- and I lived for seventeen years in inner city Baltimore. "Bad" neighborhoods -- made where Tupac lived in Baltimore look good -- and I am Caucasian. But, in Baltimore, there were a lot of streetlights. Roanoke is very, very dark.
