I had my hair dark brown with pink highlights and then instead of going back to the salon I used store bought dye in dark brown it turned all the pink parts that where bleached out a. green color and it turned all my roots light brown and the rest of my hair dark brown and I dont know why it turned all my roots light when the bleach wasnt through my whole hair
It turned a green color because of the oxidies in the dye. Now That you have this issue, you have to correct it, there's a product called Color Blocker or Color Remover. Read the packaging directions, if you're new to dye, a salon is going to get the best results. Next time, when you dye you can always dye your entire hair one color. Wait 2-3 days and put in your color highlights, then when it comes to retouching, just do roots and do it carefully, or else the same thing is going to happen.
i have a question, my hair is naturally dirty blond then i bleached it and it turned red so i bleached it again and it turned strawberry blond (i had more red in my hair then i thought) then i dyed it brown and it looks fine. now im bored with it and want a dark dark brown with platnim blonde chunks. If i bleach it after i dye it brown again will it be bloned?
To be a dark brown you wouldn't need to bleach your hair, that will cause fall out. Bleach is very very risky, if not done by a pro. After so many bleaching you should let your hair rest and add like a cool colors like Maniac Panic or something that washes out. But I hope that you're treating your hair correctly and using a toner after bleaching and lots of deep conditioner treatments.
Yes, but you would have to be very careful during the dye brown part, even when rinsing out the dye. Bleach after maybe 1 day, so you won't have any trouble, then use you plantinum blonde color and a toner, that will help the bleach set a certain shade. Hope it helps
I have a dilemma, I have some knowledge of coloring/bleaching hair, since I used to do it often. I am either thinking to go to Euphoria Beauty school (15-20$ plus tip) and getting my hair colored or going to sallys ($10-$15) to do it myself. Both will involve bleaching my hair. I already watched a yt guru who did the steps at home and it turned out fine. I am just debating whether I should go do it at a salon school or what the heck try it myself. WWYD?
If it's you first time with bleach, I would suggest that you go to a beauty school. But if you want to try it out for yourself, than go ahead and try girl =) But remember, when you bleach you have to apply a toner, so it doesn't look fake and orange or green.
its a hair dye called koolaid but seriously its not actual koolaid. i think its called that because when u put it in, it washes right out. all i need is a request on where to get some. + it cost like $5
There's a lot of them out there, I know there's MANIC PANIC, Jerome Russel, Comb & Colors Combs *they sux*, and always spray on colors, and spiker colored hair gels.
I agree, great vide, can you re-tape it? it's really hard to understand.

the standard developer level 10-20 for a developer, the higher the number the lighter the haircolor is going to be.

20 would be perfect for more natural looking, 10 developer
