  • TRADUCIR TODOS LOS VIDEOS DE MARILYN A ESPAÑOL.

POR FAVOR PARA ENTENDER LO QUE SE DICE ELLOS.

  • MARiLYN MONROE WAS KİLLED FOR HER DİALOUGE WİTH JFK

AND I THİNK HOOVER KİLLED HER..

  • She did have a female psychiatrist at one point. I am not sure if it was when she was committed. At the very end she saw Dr Ralph Greenson, who set up the housekeeper/maid/psychiatric nurse Mrs. Murray, who was probably not qualified on any of those jobs - she was more there as a spy to check on Marilyn and report in to Dr. Greenson. When Marilyn died, Mrs Murray was doing a load of laundry as police arrived...why?

  • Mira Sorvino as Marilyn? Marilyn having a hallucination? She was not a schizophrenic. I hated this movie.

  • I think this was a very entertaining movie and Mira was great as Marilyn. :)

  • MURDER....,SATURN IN AQUARIUS EQUALS SADISTIC PSYCHIATRY

  • this shit is bullshit, wat she went thew when she waz alive,i KNOW she waz not crazy by no means,an she probaly worried 2 much about goin insane like her mother, but she herself waz alwayz sane,an maybe she got sad sumtimes to how they would petray her as in the press like all calebs do,they WANTED her to be the very thing she wazent.REST IN PEACE MS. MONROE

  • @SUPERTASTY911 she knew of the negative going on around her. I don't believe it's in most people minds. Its how you handle the situations but some can be overwhelming that they can be classified as insane. Because their's no way to prove or show the demons around you that you're fighting up against everyday. What she was feeling she felt it alone. Kinda reminds me of Ana Nicole Smith, too much money behind these women and it results in the bigger fish eating the smaller fish. = (

  • This so called Dr. Greenson was the real psycho, he even was not a real Dr. but a men who had charisma to influence people.. She was not mental ill at all, nor did she take tons of pills on her free will. What is true is that Dr. Kris sent her to that hospital where she was almost killed, but Joe di Maggio managed to get her out.

  • :( poor

  • That doctor of hers was evil!

  • i have had breakdowns like that its not fun i would lash out and cry and i didn't know what was going on with me at all i was in a hospital like that i would have them and my own family would start beating on me it was horrible i know what they are like

  • Marilyn was terrified of going "insane" like her mother and grandmother, but I don't think she was ever crazy. She went to the psych ward willingly, although she was terrified.

This movie pisses me off; the actress looks/sounds nothing like Marilyn. Whoever made this movie should be ashamed of themselves.

  • Awful, awful, awful!!!!

  • ah well, another HOLLYWOOD version of a real person ( and since when has Hollywood ever done a faithful representation of someone?) It was obviously more viable to make some slushy version with lots of hysteria, lots of drama and lots of bullshit than to make something real and accurate - but then again, that's Hollywood for ya

  • @reallyrolly This is what they thought of Marilyn. This is their interpretation of who they thought she really was.

  • She's got the voice pretty down pat, but she looks nothing like her.

  • did that actually happen to her?

  • As much as this disgusts me, something similar to this did happen!! They were making her think she was crazy!! Marilyn was NOT crazy she was sexy witty very meticulous and above all perfectly sane!! This movie portrays a Marilyn with a split personality booo booo booo!! I am a Marilyn tribute artist and I've studied Marilyn for a long time!!!

  • THis is the one with Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino!! Avoid !!!! It is PATHETIC AND TOTALLY SCREWED UP..whoever made this movie definately DID NOT LIKE MARILYN MONROE. Enough said!!!! You ought to be ashamed for uploading this piece of garbage!!!!

  • @93Vet Yes, it's atotal peice of shit movie. Pisses me off it was ever made. Horrible insult to Ms.Monroe

  • So stupid. She was not crazy. she was sensible and vulnerable. this sucks.

  • just dumb

  • It's terrible..Marilyn wasn't so!:(

  • They could have at least found a more prettier/sexier looking woman to play Marilyn

  • this made me phisicaly sick

  • WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR PLAYING AT!!!!! showing Marilyn like she was a maniac!!!!!! this time of her life is very delicate and to show it like she was thinking of murdering some one where did you get that from , im disgusted at this video >:( >:( >:(

  • if this doesnt prompt you to update your will, nothing will. she left 25% of her estate to this insane psych, accidentally. it is stupid that noone took care of her. her estates a joke.

  • @shellylovelace uless you got nothing then it doesn't matter

  • ugh i hate movies about Marilyn... they always choose a fugly actress and the plot is some kind of made up bullsh!t by some loser!

  • I like bits and pieces of this movie.. they include scenes where Mira Sorvino isn't talking and this scene where they drag her into the ward. I can imagine it looked something like that in real life, w/o Ashley Judd in the background of course. Hate the movie in general.

  • It's terrible movie...

  • absolute bull shit!!! any serious monroe student and fan will dismiss it as such! take it from me, i know, i have studied her life for 40 years!

  • I LIKE THE MOVIE WHERE POPPY MONTGOMERY PLAYS MARILYN ,POPPY HAD THAT SAME SEXY/NERVOUS ATTITUDE THAT MOST PEOPLE ASSOCIATE WITH MARILYN

  • I have no idea what you're trying to depict her, but this was a completely false representation of Marilyn Monroe. It's depressing to watch this.

  • Okay, the part where they put her in a clinic for 'mad people,' they miss the part where the hospital refuse to let her go because they believe she was insane. When Marilyn had 1 phone call to make, she called JOE DIMAGGIO and it was he who secured her release. So much falsehood in this film.. really, I want a GOOD biopic of Marilyn, is that too much to ask?!

  • Was it true she was injected Demerol intravenously? by docs???

  • "This actress looks nothing like the beautiful Marilyn. Her voice even sounds so bad for this movie.Gosh i guess anyone can be marilyn, just color your hair, and try out for the role i guess.Bad actress period."

  • this part in the movie was true

  • Marilyn was sent to a mental hospital, but she did not spend much time there.

  • 0:56 OMG..What happen there ? :O

sorry i dont know so much about her :(

  • Heck with this movie. Marilyn wasn't a passive and dumb blonde.

She was FAR MORE intelligent than others.

  • F&*k this movie...an entirely false representation of the Real Marilyn

  • @Adamlestadude i said the same thing this movie is a Hollywood sensationalized fabrication of Marilyn's life and it appalls me they called this a biopic.

  • @Adamlestadude watch my week with marilyn. the people around her did just prescribe her pills without giving her proper therapy. Psychological needs weren't met at thaat time in the 50's 60's because it was frowned upon...

  • This is awful. Bad acting and the girl doesn´t even remotely look like Marilyn. Way over-dramatized as well, gives a totally false picture.

By the way, Marilyn did see a female psychiatrist - Marianne Kris- for some time and she was the person who had her admitted to Payne-Whitney.

  • this was a movie? was she really like that and sent to a hospital like that? i knew she had problesm but this DOES seem over dramitized a little. and why would she make a movie showing how physco she was?

  • who is this playing the part of marilyn? and what film is this?

  • @RoseSlipper the actress playing marilyn monroe is mira sorvino and the movie is called norma jean and marilyn. i have the movie i recorded from hbo back in 1997.

  • omg

did she really get put in a mental hostpital for realllllllllllllllll

  • marilyn wasnt like that, she wasnt so dillusional as that, really over dramatized!

  • Actually, she did go crazy for a while and became delusional; the movie is fairly accurate to some degree although the actress is not the right one at all for this movie

  • wher is marilyn ????in the vidio that girl isnt marilyn

  • hm

i dont remwmber this sceene from the movie

  • Completley dramatised. She was very calm when she was admitted though she appeared distressed and anorexic when she was released with the help of Joe DiMaggio. Makes for good veiwing though.

  • this is truly an awful movie

  • NO WAY. Marilyn has soft, childlike, feminine looks and Megan is more "rough". Ew at the thought of that. Megan is not at all wispy and fleeting like Marilyn.

  • Scarlett Johanson should have played Marilyn she is the modern day Mss Monroe DAME IT

  • I disagree, Scarlett looks nothing like Marilyn. She looks much more like Diana Dors.

  • In her picture yes, on the cover of vanity fair, also

Susan Griffiths is the modern day Marilyn Monroe she should have played her still not this one her performance is poor

  • You're right, Susan Griffiths was amazing, I also like Suzie Kennedy. I wonder how they would be as actresses.

  • Did this actually happen?? she got tied to a bed because she was mentally ill? i dont believe this

  • She was committed to a mental institution sometime in 1961. What they did to her there I don't know but it is true she was committed to an institution. I think Joe Dimaggio helped to get her out but it's true.

  • interesting take on her sadness. i guess its possible. i think she was dealing w/a life full of trauma & didnt know how to function as someone thats been horrifically effected by sorrow. i dont think the doctors at the time knew how to deal w/trauma either. i think she felt very alone-lost & no one could comprehend this kind of pain then. perhaps she wasnt crazy but broken-abandoned & overly trusting of doctors. as far as iq-she was very intelligent in 2 ways-smart & compassionate, a rare combo.

  • She never took an IQ test so no one knows what it was, however, IQ is hardly a measure of real intelligence. Marilyn worked at educating herself despite the fact that she never completed high school. She enjoyed studying many different subjects, particularly psychology and literature, and her directors noted that she was naturally bright and perceptive.

  • XPGX: Very true-IQ does not predict drive or potential. I dont know that she did take an IQ test & it doesn't matter. She pushed herself to improve her craft AND she remembered to treat people humanely along the way. I read Spoto's book about how MM used to do impromptu visits to kids in hospitals w/o the press knowing. Being loving is much more important that how well you test and is a form of intelligence-EQ I believe it's called. A very remarkable human being.

  • well said.

  • Apparantly she had an IQ of 168.

  • Marilyn was never proven to have taken an IQ test nor did she claim to, and although those who knew her attested she was naturally bright, she never displayed traits that indicated a genius level IQ, and 168 is well over genius.

  • ya know her iq was quite high. but she made herself crazy by worrying about going crazy

  • damn she really went crazy??

    shiiiiiiiit

    i still love her though

  • she was sent to payne whitney but it wasn't while she was with joe, he was the one who came and got her out though

  • Actually, at the time that she was sent to the Psych Ward, her doctor WAS a woman, Dr. Kris...the male doctor you're thinking about is probably the one she had at the time of her death, Dr. Greenson. Both were quacks imo...

I'm loving the little notes in the video descriptions though, just shows how out of whack and inaccurate this crap, I mean movie, really is.

  • I was just basing that comment on what I found in Wikipedia. There's no mention of Dr. Kris, only the latter. You're right, though, this movie isn't very accurate or factual at all.

  • did marilyn really had to go to a psych ward

  • yes she was actually admitted a few different times

  • She admitted herself, however, she was placed in the ward for the seriously disturbed against her will and was not allowed to escape.
