Everyone from every religion and non religion celebrates them, and it is a celebration of the fact that your family and friends are happy that your are alive and with them. Also the bible was written by man many years after the time of the apostals. It was created to try and unify the roman empire. The bible is not the only true word of god, Jesus is. And I've found Prophet Muhammad (saw) to be the final Prophet foretold by God in the bible (Deuteronomy, Songs of Solomon, John, etc..). Have you looked into Islam?

Early Christians long before him worshiped Christ in SECRET so they used the pagan Sun god holiday as a COVER for a celebration of Christ's birth. To me it is established that in the scriptures, God does not suggest that his people refrain from honoring kings they are subject to, though he warns them against praising them as if they were better than God. The 4th commandment states clearly: HONOR your father and your mother. Jesus asks that we LOVE our neighbor. They both mean the same thing: respect, and brotherly love for all things.

Constantine had NOTHING to do with celebrating Christmas. Early Christians long before him worshiped Christ in SECRET so they used the pagan Sun god holiday as a COVER for a celebration of Christ's birth. We are celebrating the life of one person, celebrating that what they've accomplished in this past year. I feel glad for what I've accomplished, and thank God for making it possible. But obviously I'm pagan for doing so. I agree horoscopes are evil and prohibited. But horoscopes and birthday dates are not intrinsically linked.

To me it is established that in the scriptures, God does not suggest that his people refrain from honoring kings they are subject to, though he warns them against praising them as if they were better than God. The 4th commandment states clearly: HONOR your father and your mother. Jesus asks that we LOVE our neighbor. They both mean the same thing: respect, and brotherly love for all things.

@bookofyahweh Sorry for the error. Though you must remember that some Christians consider it the 4th, because they merge the first two according to our view, and divide the 10th into two. For example, Catholics typically do this. Whether it's the 4th or 5th shouldn't be of enormous worry, but thank you for pointing out my mistake.

It is true. Everytime a birthday was celebrated in the bible someone died. Early in the old testament a Pharo had his baker killed and John the Baptist was beheaded. In luke it says it is better to weep at ones birth and to celebrate at ones death. Job's childred celebrated everyone their day and they died on their day their birthday. We are so pride filled we are a shame filled people but without shame.
