You got that wrong about the A and R. The R is for road racing and the A is for autocrossing. You can use the A on the road course but on road america, it probably only last one lap. It be perfect for high speed autocrossing. Once the A are heated up enough they will get slippery.

SCCA nice video. Youre running Hoosier R's because they last longer right? A's are alot better but dont last as long =)
