were u still using the 99 miata head in this video? Im in the process of deciding what route to go. i dont have much confidence in the tuning shops around my area for itbs. but my only other option is to go with some stock GSXR sidedraft carbs. I also have a 02 miata engine and it needs different cams but im not sure if the cams out of a 95 miata head will work?

Yes, the car is using the same ported and polished '99 head that was used at VIR last year.

Wish I could help with the cam compatibility questions, but I'm not sure about that.

Big thanks to Fuji Racing for giving me the opportunity to compete in their IRTB Miata! They have built an incredible car. There wasn't a single problem all weekend, even while running the car all the way up to the 9K redline.

As always, while a handful, the car is a joy to drive. I think some of the balance issues are coming from the fact that the tires are 2 years old. I can't wait to drive it on some fresh tires!
