All the musicians are excellent! What I think makes James Last unique is not so much the quality of the individual artistes but, as they say, the whole is more than the sum of its parts! The way Last blends and orchestrates his musicians and directs them is nothing short of pure genius.

Love this song, Last now 80, real name is HANS Last; from northern Germany, North sea, was in my youth and childhood VERY famous here, now i see what a GREAT bandleader he was worldwide with Kaempfert, Mauriat, Pourcel and so on....

Have been a JL fan in the 70s but quickly moved on. JL always had a great talent for compositions like the one above and Nature Boy elsewhere here, but it did not always materialise. Commercial interests prevailed. JL was bad at succession planning and adapting to current modern times. It now looks like an old peoples home, pity. We need an outfit like this but doing modern funky stuff.
