  • and to think 8 to ten years later bands like def leppard in there home country and van halen in the states would take over.

  • the interview is kind of a joke cause there were alot of great bands after beatles broke up it's just zeppelin just happen to be the most popular rock band of the 70's but still so many other great bands.

  • "The" Led Zeppelin lol

  • Wow. Plant was 22 years there

  • the beatles made great music, but they were fruitcakes. These guys made great music, but were pure badass as well.

  • Is it just me or did anyone else want to kill the announcer guy every time he said THE Led Zeppelin? :P

  • I whistle along to the immigrant song all the timr

  • I do really prefer the beatles, they did some new stuff. I think Led Zep were just a continuation of the stuf Cream and Hendrix started.

  • @gre1990 no man hell no they started something brand new

  • It always cracks me up when bands that don't use the word 'the' in their name are introduced with it...The Led Zeppelin...The Cream...

  • to short

  • ray coleman is a psycho! but intelligent though

  • Its cool, its groovy its Led Zeppelin! lmao

  • whats the song at 2:16?? thanks

  • @010hlong Bring it on Home, one of my favorites! It starts off slow with a little 12 bar blues until Jimmy comes in with that killer riff! An underrated tune for sure!

  • his face at 0:34 :O Lol

  • ahhhh bonzo is the cutest drummer ever

  • ESTO ES MILENARIO!!

  • "The" Led Zeppelin. LOL.

  • HOLY SHIT, voting for an image is exactly what they do now

  • from 2:47 and then.....OMG! John Bonham!!! <3

and i love the way he speaks! his accent *_____*

  • Well, the personality cult is definitely back unfortunately. In 40+ years we have certainly devolved as a culture.

  • i love how he is like, listen to this: *Bonzo's gong from lemon song*. haha awesome

  • love them both, Zeppelin and the beatles!!!

  • @jkovert led

  • I love The Lead Zeppelin!

  • Can we all stop fighting and just watch the fucking video jesus crust

Look at these two wonderful people and calm down

  • seriously, for that time, the interview was lame. you can't compare music. we have different taste in music. if everyone has the same opinion, then what about the rest of the other musicians?

  • wrong, i can hum along to so many zeppelin tunes

  • This video is beautiful. I wish I was alive in 1970...

  • Both Zeppelin and the Beatles were great bands. I prefer Zeppelin...I think they were more versatile and inventive than any other band...they incorporated so many different styles into their music ranging from blues, folk, rock, metal, Indian, and reggae. No other group in rock history was or is as talented or creative.

  • @wolverine974801 i argeed but beatles sometimes i want to say led is better but is hard for me do you think led invited metal some say but i think it was black sabbth or led zeppelin

  • @wolverine974801 i agree i love zeppelin, but the beatles also incorporated all the styles you named and they did it even earlier (I love both of the bands)

  • @wolverine974801 I'm a hardcore Beatles fan but I am also a huge Led Zeppelin fan. I own all of Led Zeppelin LPs (Original US First Pressings) on vinyl.

  • Comment removed

  • @wolverine974801 did led create metal or sabbth

  • Led Zeppelin is unbelievable and outstanding! But, nothing beats The Beatles!

  • @AndrewHaddock bullshit, zeppelin absolutely rapes the beatles

  • @trams33 in your opinion. you can like LZ and that´s just your taste. Like many others likes Beatles over LZ.

now that we have the ´´opinion´´ thing cleared. there´s something called ´´facts´´...like who´s more influential, who´s more succesful, who explored more sounds and genres...and in all those measurable facts Beatles own LZ.

facts and opinions, 2 different things.

  • @msanm5 hmm influential? without zeppelin many genres wouldn't exist, many of the greatest bands were inspired by led zeppelin over the Beatles i can guarantee that. i can see what you mean by opinion, but being more successful doesn't mean your better.

  • @trams33 Beatles are more influential. LZ is just influential for rock/metal bands.

Beatles is influential for a very large of genres and types of music. even Latin musicians of ´´Merengue´´ name Beatles as their influence.

Kid, I´m not really in the mood to explain why you´re ignorant. try to do some research by yourself.

  • @msanm5 me ignorant, maybe you shouldn't respond if you don't wanna hear my opinion then, beside i think most of the Beatles music sucks ass, how can you say half their stuff is as good as zeppelin, people amaze me by their stupidity.

  • @trams33 Beatle´s music is more complex. Beatles explored more sounds and genres.

LZ is basically guitars and drums. yes, they had little variation like ´´the crunge´´...´´hot dog´´...´´kashmir´´, etc.

I know both bands well and I can tell you that.

It´s easy to tell you dont know Beatles well. respect the greatest band in history, kid.

  • @msanm5 so you prefer to listen to some guy say "numba nine" for 6 minutes or that one shitty song where its just noise, oh wait that's all they are. Beatles are nothing compared to zeppelin musically, each member of zeppelin was the master of his own instrument, the Beatles could never outplay something as godly as zeppelin, as a whole Beatles are crap, i will admit though that Paul McCartney is good solo without the others dragging him down.

  • @trams33 your ´´arguments´´ are not valid because they´re just ´´opinions´´.

anyway, it´s easy to tell you dont know Beatles well.

listen to this songs if you´re not lazy.

    /watch?v=QLj2QDPFpFU

    /watch?v=Vn3JrUl4OGk

    /watch?v=umS936PdnQM

    /watch?v=KvqZGgyfw-U&feature=related

    those are masterpieces

  • @msanm5 lol whatever im done arguing, like Bonham said you went to look at them not to hear there shitty music. they were basically the pop stars of the 60's and there completely overrated, sure they explored many genres, and sure they explored more sounds but they didn't do it good at all. i think people are just afraid to say that they suck because they think its insulting all of classic rock but i don't know how someone would justify that in the slightest. have a fine life.

  • @trams33 sure kid. just watch the videos I told you.

  • @trams33 Live, they do. But, in the studio, Lennon/McCartney created musical masterpieces.. opinion based though.

  • I want to know what Macca had for breakfast!

  • Handsome men of led zep!

  • True Gentlemen

  • I think the presenter here is pretty unfair to the Beatles, he's acting like it was 1964 - the Beatles were surely not clean-cut, clean shaven young men by 1970! That said, this has to be one of the strangest things I've seen on YouTube. It's like two world's colliding - the set, the black & white film, the presenters all appear to be from a completely different era than Plant & Bonham. Almost like there was a rip in the time / space continuum and they fell through it.

  • good interview, i just think they really talked down the beatles, ok what they said was correct for the first few years of the beatles, but the beatles experimented largely and paved the way for bands like zeppelin. i mean listen to the albums revolver, sgt peppers, abbey road, etc. they were the first ones to really experiment in the recording studio ,

  • @streetparade no, it's on the second album.

  • 0:37 what was that part?

  • @bastyl1 The Lemon Song. It's on "The" Led Zeppelin's debut.

  • @streetparade lemon song was on their second album man

  • Look the Beatles had stuff which IS like Led Zeppelin in it's own way : I'm Down, Long Tall Sally, Helter Skelter, I want you (she's so heavy) and many others

  • Man, the Stones must have been PISSED. The Beatles finally removed from the top and then, BOOM, out of left field comes the Yardbirds guitarist, a session guy and two country bumpkins from the Midlands to grab the top spot and become the biggest band in the world. Hah, hah!

  • What happened in the murder trial?

  • hot

  • I like a couple of the Beatles songs, but they ARE NOT all that. Come on, be honest, alot of their songs are SO fucking annoying. But Zeppelin's mediocre is equal to everyone else's best, and I like the point that Bonham made, people shouldn't care what the band looks like, but care what they sound like. If you're pretty but don't have much talent (Beatles) than go into acting, not music.

  • @aweomae all you´re arguements are personal opinions. I personally know people that hate LZ´s music and love Beatles. you can´t recognize personal taste from facts. that´s what makes you dumb.

  • @msanm5 Did I ever state that anythings I said was fact? No I didn't. That's what makes you dumb.

  • @aweomae ´´LZ´s mediocre is equal to everyone else´s best´´

I think that´s the dumbest arguement I´ve ever heard. also, if it´s an opinion then you should say ´´in my opinion I like LZ better than all the others´´.

what you said is like saying ´´Britney spears is a better guitarist than Jimmy page´´. then you said ´´I didn´t say that´s a fact´´.

    you´re dumb. educate yourself musically.

  • @msanm5 Maybe you should just face the technicalities of the situation, being that I did not in any way imply my statement was a fact, and I do not need to state that what I am saying is in fact an opinion, I would assume most people to be less ignorant than yourself and understand that with a topic like this, all that can be stated is opinion as there are no facts as to who makes the best music. Now why don't you stop, because all the idiocy coming from you is just embarassing.

  • @aweomae you said something is better. if it was your opinion then you should say ´´in my opinion´´.

anyway, it´s nice that you admitted it was an opinion.

Beatles are more influential than LZ. Beatles innovated more than LZ. Beatles are more succesful. those are facts, not opinion.

  • @msanm5 I agree that The Beatles did create better music, But you have to understand that Led Zeppelin were a better live band. I mean The Beatles couldn't really do much live since the screaming was so loud, People just went to their concerts just to be near them. I mean they played exactly like their studio recordings where as Led Zeppelin improvised.

  • @MunisAwesome better live band? that´s an opinion really.

a better live band would be the one you like. no matter how good is LZ playing live..if you dont like their music you wouldnt enjoy them live. so it´s really an opinion.

  • @msanm5 Okay be serious here, Who do you think is a better band?

The Beatles who played with poor timing live due to the screams, the fact that you could just listen to their records sicne they usually attempted to play it exactly the same.

    or

Led Zeppelin improvising for a whole hour when playing Dazed and Confused live etc.

Put aside opinion, Because technically, creatively and musically Led Zeppelin did play better live.

Although the Beatles were better in the studio.

  • @MunisAwesome who do I think it´s abetter live band? Beatles, because I like their music more than LZ.

technically better? it´s not the same music. creatively? depends on the music. most of the Beatle songs were complex and had more instrumentation.

LZ played better live in your opinion, that´s ok.

  • @msanm5 You've totally misunderstood everything I've said, Just because you like their music doesn't mean you'll like them playing live . So you're telling me when you go to a Beatles concert you'd prefer the screaming if the girls then going to hear Led Zeppelin play at their concert and ACTUALLY hear them?

Clearly you're too biased. Oh yeah, ANd I enjoy the beatles music better. But I'm not the guy who thinks they're better then everyone at everything.

  • @MunisAwesome I actually understant what you´re saying perfectly..but you´re confused.

we´re not talking about ´´accidents´´ in the concert like the ´´screaming girls not letting you hear the music´´. we´re just talking about the sound.

that´s fine that you like LZ live. I still say it´s an opinion. by the way, I like both bands too.

  • @msanm5 But even their sound was terrible, They kept playing out of tune and their timing was off. They even admitted to makign countless mistakes while playing live.

  • @MunisAwesome ok. prove me that they admitted making countless mistakes.

if you mean little things like forgetting a few words..that happens to anyone.

  • @msanm5 Watch the Beatles anthology in it's full, How can you play properly when you can't hear yourself and others play?

Stop being so biased just because you like the beatles better, I like the beatles better but it's obvious who the better live band is.

  • @MunisAwesome that´s not prove. prove me that they admitted making lots of mistakes. you like to lie?

I think that Beatles are better live than LZ. dont agree? then keep crying about, kid.

  • @msanm5 What are you on about? You want to throw insults now? LOLOLOLOLOL

Am I a kid now? LOLOLOLOL

Dude, Do you even know what the Beatles anthology are? They're documentries and eventually they start talking about playing live during beatlemania and how the screaming affected their playing.

Man you don't know shit aye. You're way too in love with them that you make blind judgements.

  • @MunisAwesome yes, I think you´re a kid. you just keep crying because I say Beatles are better live. get over it.

kid, you dont know shit. you´re just in love with LZ and you want to see them live...maybe to see them shirtless?

  • @msanm5 Well if you want to go around accusing people of being kids, I would've hoped you wouldn't have acted one yourself to make a better accusiation. And the whole time you've been saying that the Beatles are better live, GET OVER IT. But have not once given me a reason why they are actually better live, And having better music doesn't mean you know how to perform live better.

And I'm in love with LZ? I am indeed in love with their improvisation. Which is somethign the beatles don't do live

  • @MunisAwesome that´s your opinion. my opinion is that Beatles are better live.

you´re going to keep crying about it? Let´s see....

  • @msanm5 You keep using the word opinion and yet have not given your reasons why they are good live. And again with the crying thing? It's as if that insult is the only way to help youself feel more secure about your own stance on your position on who is better live.

  • @MunisAwesome why I think Beatles are better live? because of their live sound.

yes, in some concerts you couldnt hear them because of the girl..but in others you can.

yes, you´re crying because you just can´t accept the fact that I think Beatles are better live. get over it. going to cry now?...again?

  • @msanm5 The facts are that 75% of the Beatles music sounds nearly indentical, while LZ has covered many different genres of music, and no two songs from them that I've heard sound the same, and success is not a calculator of greatness. So stop talking about how succesful the Beatles are as it is meaningless. Anyways, I enjoy many of the Beatles songs too, I just can't understand why they are so loved.

  • @aweomae Dude, Listen to the Beatles probably and you wouldn't be so brave to make such a bold claim.

  • @MunisAwesome Yes, what a load of crap that was saying Beatles stuff sounds identical

  • @MunisAwesome I've listened to all but I few songs I think, and they just will not shy away from the one or two styles of songs, which gets very, very tiring after a while. But do not get me wrong, I do enjoy many of their songs, I just get tired of the same old same old.

  • @aweomae Wow, You don't know anything do you? Ithink you're referring to their first albums, Listen to their stuff after 1964, And you'll realize how retarded your claim is. Oh wait you also claimed you listened to nearly all their songs. LOL Guess you're just simply retarded. They've covered SOOOO many genres, And were insanely experimental in the late 60s you don't realize how laughable your comment is.

  • @MunisAwesome We have our opinions. I tire of the Beatles and I'm sure people tire of Zeppelin just as much. I knew upon posting these comments that you Beatles fans would be defensive, you may notice a difference but to me they sound the same alot. I'm sure there are people who think that about Zeppelin too. So lets not start calling each other ignorant, because calling someone ignorant based on their musical preferations & opinions is more ignorant than any musical opinion could ever be.

  • @aweomae awe, if you don´t like Beatle´s music then ok...that´s just an opinion. but saying that Beatles sound the same just proves that you dont know them well...therefore you´re being ignorant.

I showed you a couple of songs. I´m pretty sure you didnt even listen to them.

  • @msanm5 I have listened to most of their music, and tire quick of most of it. I do like the Beatles though, Here are a few songs I do not tire of: "Twist and Shout" "Revolution" "Back in the U.S.S.R" "Hey Jude" "Get Back" and "Eleanor Rigby" doesn't bother me. I would've replied to the songs you sent me but I was in a hurry.

  • @aweomae if you know the Beatles you will know that they are musically more diversed than LZ. so I don´t believe much of what you´re saying.

  • @msanm5 Ok well I don't know what to tell you dude. To me they sound the same, to you they sound different. Its probably just because you like em' more than I do and can get more into their music, I don't know. But point is I have my opinion you have yours, no need to shove yours at me just because you believe it to be fact.

  • @aweomae this is different.

imagine 2 circles...one is red and the other is blue. you´re saying something like ´´for me it is the same color...I have my opinion´´. it´s not really an opinion, it´s a fact.

if you knew Beatles well you would notice. or maybe you have mind problems.

  • @aweomae I'm not being defensive, I'm being realistic. It's extremely ignorant to say Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds sounds like I want to hold your hand. It's absurd to say that Lovely Rita sounds like I saw her standing there. I told my old music teacher what you said and he literally laughed and said you were an idiot. This isn't about liking or disliking the beatles. The reality is, Their music doesn't sound the same.

  • @MunisAwesome I don't know what to tell you dude, in my opinion Led Zeppelin is more diverse, in yours Beatles. Can we leave at that? God damn we're gonna synchronize our periods if we talk about this for any longer.

  • @aweomae You've suddenly changed the topic, We aren't talking about who's more diverse. You claimed that all Beatles music sounded the same, Which is comparable to claiming a horse sounds like a chicken. I've told countless people about your claim even those who like Zeppelin more or don't even like the Beatles and they think you're an idiot.

  • @MunisAwesome Whether a large number of people claim my opinion is ignorant, is not relevant. There is no percentage victory with opinions, you're like a child who says "two against one, I win!". So I do not care what your little friends said, point is I think what I think. You think what you think. Our opinions will forever differ there for this conversation was pointless in itself, and should never have been had. Can we leave it at that? I am tired of talking about this.

  • @aweomae You're totally right, I think a horse shitting sounds exactly like a fish swimmning. But everyone says I'm ignorant and an idiot. BUT WHAT DO THEY KNOW!

  • @MunisAwesome You must not be the sharpest knife in the drawer. You need to be more technical, less idiotic. Opinions are not facts, stop acting like you and your little friends have fact based opinions. Opinions are never fact based, and there is no percentage victory with opinions. I know many people who think the Beatles sound the same, do you see me bragging about our shared opinion over yours? No. Because I am not stupid enough to think that numerous opinions are facts.

  • @aweomae No, but it is fact that playing C on the piano does not sound the same as G on the piano. Having an opinion and saying that they are both the same notes because they your opinion is that they sound the same is absurd. I'm Sorry but a lot of what you are saying is complete nonsense. That's like me saying Screamo sounds WAY too similar to folk so I don't like them.

  • @MunisAwesome Well opinions can be absurd sometimes, no need to have an arguement in the comment section of a YouTube video over it. Your opinion is that my opinion is absurd, this is just a big opinion fight. I feel like I am talking to a Christian about religion, but nevermind because that is actually funny as hell. Anyways, point is I am going to stop having this dick contest over our opinions of the fucking Beatles, I feel dumber and dumber with every reply I type.

  • @aweomae First of all, I don't think you fully understand what absurd means. Secondly, My point was opinions can be false. Thirdly, You openly criticized christians and yet like them have opinions on things that aren't true. A christian's opinion is God is real and the world is 10,000 years old. Like you, You think for somereason the song Birthdaysounds exactly orsimilar to Sun King? (Beatle songs)

  • @MunisAwesome Yes I know what absurd means, but the only reason they may be labeled absurd is because someone else's opinion was that said opinion was absurd, in this case your opinion is that mine is absurd. You think that opinions can be false? They are OPINIONS. Just because my opinion is that LZ is better than Beatles does not mean it is false just because a Beatles fan says so. Just like how my opinion that their songs are alike is not false simply because you disagree.

  • @aweomae You know what, You are completey correct. My opinion is that pigs can fly and birds are actually fish. But everyone keeps disagreeing with me, Can you tell me why?

  • @MunisAwesome I really don't give half of a shit anymore dude, I like LZ you must like Beatles. Shut the fuck up about it.

  • @aweomae I actually really love LZ, I just have a common sense to know that nearly all the beatles music doesn't sound similar or the same. And if you don't give a half shit anymore then it's pretty simple... STOP REPLYING. And "Shut the fuck up about it."? Alright, Settle down... Don't cry about it... jeez.

  • @aweomae your opinion was that ´´Beatles sounded the same´´....don´t change things.

and no, Beatles do not sound the same. they explored more genres and sounds than LZ.

  • @msanm5 Yeah well you know what else? I just can't seem to find anymore damns to give!

  • @aweomae I meant *properly*. And also listen to their music after 1965. Saying 75% of their music sounds nearly identical is extremely absurd.

  • @aweomae you dont know Beatles..so your arguement is not valid. try to know them well first.

I know them both I can tell you Beatles are more diversed than LZ.

  • @msanm5 Ok I will but I've heard ALOT of their music and while I did enjoy some of it, I found that they always sounded nearly the same. They just won't get away from the one style of song, and it gets very tiring after a while.

  • @aweomae maybe you heard the beggining of their careers.

just for you to get the idea, Beatle´s album ´´white album´´ is more musically diversed than the entire LZ discography. I´m not saying that as an opinion, it´s a fact. taste is personal tho...you can like LZ better.

  • @msanm5 Well I suppose I'll try to listen to even more of it, although I'm pretty sure I've only missed a couple songs. But music sounds different to each person, you can originality in Beatles songs, and I can see originality in Led Zeppelin's songs. Led Zeppelin has just always been better for me. But anyhow, apoligies for the agressive start of this conversation, I understand the point you made, I guess I should've said that it was my opinion.

  • @aweomae ok that´s cool

  • @msanm5 oo i wouldn't agree with this statement man, these are probably my two favourite bands, i own every album from both, i wouldnt' say the white album is more diverse then their whole discography. don't get me wrong it is diverse but houses of the holy, and physical graffiti are extremelyyyy diverse as well. you probably heard them if you didnt tho check out houses of the holy,, incredible album

  • @persbol yeah I´ve heard those albums. great albums. but still ´´white album´´ has more sounds and genres. if you check each of the ´´white album´´ song you will find out. you have great taste tho.

  • Led zeppelin Beatle Influence = George Harrison was reportedly the inspiration for "The Rain Song" when he made a comment to Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, about the fact that the group never wrote any ballads In tribute to Harrison, the opening two chords are recognisably borrowed from the first line of his ballad "Something" with The Beatles.

  • Robert has a lovely speaking voice :3

  • i never really liked the beetles

  • @jeffhardy664 What about The Beatles....did you like them?

  • The answer to the Beatles vs. Zeppelin Dilema?

    PINK FLOYD

  • if somebody would make this shitty music it would be nr -1000000000 nowadays

  • The name of that song at 2:20 is bring it on home last track on their second album

  • 2:20 hey guys what song was that ?????

  • Two Pharaohs of shifting popular music as we all know it.

  • did he really say 'i don't think i can whistle your stuff' has he not heard black dog. its the easiest song to listen to.

  • You guys should have listened to the Beatles before judging their music, cause anyone that has listened to Abbey Road or the White Album would never judge the Beatles as "catchy pop songs" writers. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are two great bands, they did their best, and we should stop comparing them.

  • @dkthg, suck on my bean bag you fucking peasant, zeppelin do rule, But the beatles rule just as equally! Zeppelin have 4 class albums, beatles have 10.

  • 72 people are dead to me.....

  • Pfft stupid, prudish old men!

  • the beatles will never be out. but i do love zeppelin.

  • @thekalidescopeaffect Beatles had split up in acrimony and this was new and exciting with prog and bubblegum + glam rock + a new decade had just begun.

  • @konked dude i know that. my point is the beatles will always be the greatest. and idk if id call it glam.

  • @thekalidescopeaffect I wouldn't either :) I set the words clumsily meaning that prog & others were around about the same time in the beginning of 70's :)

  • I love those times..where people grew their hair long & said "FUCK IT"..Didn't give a shit about societal image crap from a TV set...Humans were much more down to earth & REAL too, funky & full of emotion, SOUL.The music ruled! Radio airwaves were full of great bands..Unlike now with all this dumbed-down, business class "politically correct" robotized BS everywhere. People have become drones. This lame decade absolutely fucking sucks! What a JOKE! Long live LZ & musicians who play from the heart

  • @rg2027x c'mon.

  • @rg2027x agreed my friend

  • @NickNoRtHeRnLiGhTs

    ツ‏✌ ♫

  • @rg2027x Dude.. you're awesome.

  • @rg2027x people like you plague youtube and it really grinds my gears to have just such a ridiculously ignorant view. The reason you think zeppelin's era was so amazing was because the only music you hear from it is the ones, like Zep, who have survived! Nobody is going to know Rihanna either in 50 years from now, and there were 70s rihannas as well. Shit music has always been around and will always be, so quit whining, get out to a venue or backyard and find some good current music ya twat.

  • money - acceptance

kind of an interesting perspective. oh wise plant XD

  • Yeah...They went to "SEE" the Beatles 'cause nobody could "HEAR" them because of all the girly juice flowing out of sheer ectasy! Don't hear much from/about Zep lately....Sorry, The Beatles are still #1...

  • @MegaVolve best motherfucking comment nuff said period.

  • IT really can get any better that these guys love you :)

  • I like how they're just casually smoking in the middle of the interview

  • LOL "The" Led Zeppelin

  • "People are voting for music, as opposed to the image." I wish that statement were true now.

  • 1:43 OMG the hair! he was walking around the streets like that?!

  • the beatles were not excellent at playing and singing, but they were excellent at writing catchy songs that sounded good, and i love the beatles and allways will but zeppelin had an amazing drummer an amazing guitarist and amazing singer, but they also didnt have the songwriting ability the beatles did.... imagine if they formed together!

  • @Inc0rupt3ble Shame on you to not mention John Paul Johns one of the best bassists. He held that group together and without him John's drums wouldn't have had nearly the impact that they did. Amazing rhythm section!

  • @gtate135 my bad john paul jones was the best musician out of everyone i talked about,

  • Im gonna settle this now, they are both epic, amazing bands, you cannot compare them though, two different entities altogether.

Its like comparing the earth to jupiter.

Just enjoy them both and put the keyboards down for fucksake.

  • @DAVROSS44 fuck you! ZEPPELIN FOREVER!!!

  • Love Zeppelin, Love Beatles..

  • Cmon guys, chill the fuck out.

If it sounds good it is. Beatles? Great musicians, great songs.

Led zeppelin, great musicians, great songs.

Thats all that fucking matters here

  • Great interview, but WTF are they sitting on?

  • "The" Led Zeppelin. Love it!

  • Why is everyone arguing about who the better band is? They are both great bands in their own right and they both accomplished great thing and they will both live on forever.

  • G.O.D.S.

  • Although I do like Zeppelin better than the Beatles, I'm not taking sides. It's hard for me to say who were better musicians cuz I like LZ music more than the beatles but certainly John Lennon is a better musician than Robert plant but Bonham is obviously better than ringo star and LZ and the Beatles are very different. LZ are pretty superior when it comes to rock but the Beatles are were better at writing more catchy pop songs. Either way it's really jus what yu like best. They are both fantas

  • "The Led zeppelin"

  • "In our position, we've spent years and years on the road, sort of playing in little church halls and being beaten up and bricks thrown through the van window and everything, and to have money at last is just another figure in my mind of mass acceptance, which is what we all work for. I mean, everybody, however much they like to deny the fact really wants, in the end, to be accepted by the majority of people."

  • "THE Led Zeppelin"

  • Led zeppelin is the best ROCK band ever assembled. The Beatles were the best Pop band that has ever played. The Beatles sound was simple early on and was mostly the studio genius of George Martin in the latter years. Remember, they stopped playing live after 1966 in part becuase they couldn't reproduce their studio sound live. Zeppelin on the other hand could play anything live that they recorded and Jimmy Page was the only guitarist. Can you picture the Beatles playing Achilles Last Stand?

"". Can you picture the Beatles playing Achilles Last Stand?""

Haha msanm5 doesn't even know what that song is. msanm5 only knows about housewives afternoon 'pop' music like The Beatles. He knows NOTHING about "rock" music like Led Zeppelin.

  • As far as the Beatles Zeppelin thing, of course the Beatles were a superior band. Zeppelin was most important in laying some groundwork for heavier rock bands later but so many early songs were just blues covers...

The Beatles were much more creative and influential by far.

  • I like oranges more then apples, even if there are more variety of apples. Anybody that tells me that apples are better are assholes that don't know anything about fruit.

  • Rock'n'roll history as it was unfolding... Effing fascinating... Though somehow I don't think people will be seeking out early Katy Perry interviews in 40 years...
