The kid is a good "entertainer" that has Elvis-like qualities but to say that he had the caliber to play the lead in a "replica" show like this was a bit of a stretch. The Martin guy was better but his vocals were of too. I think the bottom line is that every guy who performs as EP has strengths and weaknesses. To match Elvis is nearly impossible FOR EVERY PERFORMER, let alone trying to do every era. So I give credit for him to take on a giant challenge like this !

Jamie has been doing his own shows since 2004, has been doing only his own shows since 2006 and has 5 CDs of non-Elvis to his credit.

After having done everything there was to do in the "Elvis world", he moved on. Elvis will always be one of his biggest influences, though, and that will always come through, even in his own work.

Yea. Any ETA fortunate enough to put on a show like that should be proud. . Not a bad job at all. I'm no judge but if I were I'd give him an overall 7 on appearance. about a 7 on the vocals. Moves I would say another 7. Martin Fontaine did a fantastic job with his story wigs and stage make up an a lack of an Elvis except for the early years I'd pay to see him perform. Only 2 guys I know who can sound like Elvis that it's scarey. 2 guys. Mystery man jon cotner. and Sam Ellis of Pa.

Not just that, Elvis Presley Enterprises sent Elvis Story to Jamie, and his voice is on a ton of official stuff.

I saw him in Gatinueau as well as AC, and this video was taken just two weeks after Jamie started doing Elvis Story.. and Martin's videos are after 10 years!!.. imo Jamie was more natural from the start, imagine what his videos would have been after 10 years!

I like Shawn, too, he is an awesome performer, but he just couldn't do a show like this.

Have you heard him sing the early stuff?? I have when he was in chicago with the Jordanaires. For your future reference he does it just fine. Before you add a oppinion you should maybe know more about what you are making one about. Yes he is known for the concert years and does them well but can do the early years just as well. I have seen Doug Church in concert several times which I enjoyed very much. However, that was before I saw Jamie Aaron Kelley in the Elvis Story in AC. He had the look, the moves and the charisma that Elvis possessed. Not to mention the incredible voice. He is genuinely talented! He is now performing his own shows which are fantastic and doing very well. A truly talented entertainer can do this. He is by far the best (in my opinion). Jamie you are awesome!

and Gatineau did better with Jamie than Martin's past Elvis Story visit (verifiable fact from Lac Lemay staff, they said it), and with Martin's return Montreal and the last Quebec City didn't sell well, they gave away almost as many tickets as they sold and I know this for absolute fact. Jamie is used for product by EPE still and neither of the other two are or every were, if they're the best why not them?

first of all, you know nothing of the ticket sales. Jamie did Harrah's in AC with Elvis Story - 76 sold out shows! Then to Gatineau in Canada where Fontane did not draw but Jamie did! Jamie's not stuck on himself or calling himself the 'voice of Elvis' etc.

BTW - Fontane came back and did the Bell Center in Montreal...management had to give away 39,000 tickets in order to get people into the seats. He's not doing ES anymore.....perhaps that's the reason why - people were tired of him.

I have heard Jamie Aaron Kelley & that "other guy" AND having seen/heard ELVIS in person several times, can only compare the VOICES! Without a doubt JAMIE AARON KELLEY is 100 times PLUS better than that guy ...And "That's The Way It Is!"

I remember JAMIE in the ELVIS STORY was held over an EXTRA MONTH in Atlantic City...He went from 2 months to 3 months of "a full house!" I know! I saw nearly half of them!
