  • Thumbs up if you're here for history homework!!!

  • Hetalia

  • all this resulted in the murder 56 million people world wide .... im speechless. good video though....

  • @steffo78 the chinese dictator Zao was responsible for more deaths up around the 75 million mark and Stalin not far off that

  • He never said

'I ask of you German people, that after you gave parties 14 years, you give us 4'.

He actually said 'German people, give us four years. And I swear to you, just as I have taken office, I will leave it. I did not do this for reward or person gain. I did it because you willed it so!'

Many 'offical' democracies try to twist and change things concering the NS and Hitler.

  • i USED THIS FOR MY HISTORY HOMEWORK!!!!!!

  • I swear to god this user works at my school I discovered channel through a video that helps us use our school website and makin an account for it

  • @shamdy56 IS MR ALLSOP HAHA LOL MY ANDREW IS ON HIS CHANNEL LOL

  • "It wasn't the intellectuals who gave me the courage to start this huge task. It came from 2 dasses alone:the german farmers & workers"

Don't bash me, but I can't help but think about Communism with this sentence :D. That's just a thought, again, please don't be mean

Can somebody please explains briefly the differences between Nazism(or Fascism) & Communism aside from the racial agressive manner?

  • @uyenst Nazism is on the extreme right of the poltical idealogical spectrum, while communism is on the extreme left.Nazism is extremely nationalist in nature favouring the elite factions of society, like industrialists, landowner and the middle classes. The Nazis promised these influntial people they would act as a barrier to communism which is idealogicaly polar. Communism empowers the "proletariat" ot working massesCommunist states feature stateowned insdustry promising even wealthdistribution

  • @curlyies : thank you! And I have to bother you again, is Nazism a germanized form of fascism, or is there any big difference?

  • @uyenst I think you could say nazism is a germanized for of fascism as nazism preceeded it fascism, they were very similar both authoritarian autocratic and opposed to communism although fascism was more of an emotional response to Italys apparently poor preformance in WW1 than a set doctrine of idealogy like Nazism.Fascism was more liberalistic in nature and represented no real radical changes to the status quo of the day apart from making Italy "great feared and respected" but never anything

  • @curlyies as radical as genocide!

  • @curlyies Look idiot do your fucken homework Stalin KILLED much more than Hitler! and he was a good guy with america...who look at the current world have corrupted it and fucked it big time...sorry america are the good guys i forgot

  • @uyenst Its just Hitler being Pragmatic in conjuring suppourt... The Nazis where "National Socialists" they had aspects of both Right and Left but when they had enough suppourt many left wing policies were dropped. National Socialism is hypocratic, they wanted to gain suppourt so appealed to the large demographic - the workers. Nazism + Fascism = Right Wing. Communism = Left Wing

  • @curlyies

You arguement has one devestating fault with it.

National Socialism is hypocritical of itself. Then who exactly is a NAZI???

Was Hitler a Nazi (according to you he didn't really believe what he said)

Or where Nazis Themselves Nazis( after all they believed in the National Socialistic crap that Hitler constantly repeated.)

  • Thanks, really helpful for my exams :D

  • this is going to help me in my exam thanks alot

  • this is short, sweet, to the point. I just saved myself so much reading. love this.

  • Goebbels an " unscrupulous " propagandist lol .............how unscrupulously biast can you get ?

  • Hitler is conservative

  • @HTMLfreak129 you think? lol.

  • I hate how probably most of these viewers are coming here for educational purposes and have to read comments by narrow minded neo-nazis who think they understand a regime that they were never a part of.

  • Hitler's Black!

  • rise and falls happen as a people of the world it not jews, arabs, black or white it down to greed and we are all greedy at times. If we all talk and be fair to each other this will never happen again and fact!!!

  • The nazi's were national socialists, not a group of thugs. they wanted to give germany back to the germans and take it away from capitalist jews, and communists who make you share your wealth with EVERYONE. Germany belongs to germans. long live nationalism

  • Hitler coined the phrase "The Big Lie" in 'Mein Kampf' to educate the primitive masses how the jews rule over them thru psychological operations. Most people will tell little "white lies" to meet their goals but the jews thru trial and error have mastered "The Big Lie" such as the Bible, Israelite-ism and the Holocaust. The primitive masses fail to comprehend inside their simplistic minds how any people could be so wicked to manufacture such massive lies so they accept the claims as truthful.

  • I LOVES HITLERS HAIR! it´s sad that he cutted it so bad sometimes.

  • sound like bush !!!!

  • wth made the great depretion, how can every country in the world just go poor al of a sudin?

  • @TheIraq4life The depression made the world go poor...

  • @soldier4670 yes but how did that get stared?

  • @TheIraq4life The wall street crash I think.

  • @TheIraq4life Wall Street in New York city operates the financial businesses worldwide. It controls everything. Basically, when it crashes, the whole world crashes because the whole world cannot operate without it.

  • @TheIraq4life The Wall Street crash in America affected all other countries cause of the links in business.

  • sounds like Obama and the unions and Emanuel.

  • all the stuff i needed to know, thanks

  • who controls the past controls the present and who controls the present controls the future. you cannot overstate the importance of history. mr nationalist, learn from history as it is clear concerning the suffering and death which follows the withdrawl of rights and liberties.

  • wow history geeks.

  • Yes, thank you enormously...your podcasts are simple, yet clear and precise, and very useful for a bit of general revision. Mr. Allsop, you don't sound your name (always brings to mind Aesop...which was probably intentional) but you are a very good Phantom teacher. Cheers.

  • your podacsts and videos are so helpfull! i've actually got paper two, depth studies, in an hour. i teach myself at home with n.e.c and your podcasts have been so, so helpful!

  • very informative

    plagorism for me... lol jks

  • This is very similar to what has happened over the last 9 years. Instead of Reichstag, it was the World Trade Center that gave The Government power do whatever they wanted. We even concentration camps. I am so disappointed in America's thirst for blood and hate. If the people hadn't blindly followed History would not have repeated itself. That's why they try to keep people uneducated and ignorant, easier to control.

  • are you saying the republicans are the Nazis... I think its anyone who want more federal government control no matter which party they affiliate with. In fact i'll go as far to say that the democrats get away with more of it cause the medias on their side and will keep the people ignorant. I actually read parts of the health care bill. Sounds very much closer to fascism or communism then anything the republicans would put forth.

  • "Fascism or Communism". Congratulations on being ignorant and thinking these things mean the same thing. Learning basic history is hard, isn't it?

Fun fact: Hitler had all communists, socialists, and anyone with left-leaning political sentiments rounded up and thrown in the concentration camps and Stalin would have thrown Democrats into the Gulags for being capitalist bourgeoisie.

But keep up with those Democrats = Communists = Nazis talking points. You're really elevating the debate.

  • Hitler was also against the ideas of socialized ANYTHING, let alone socialized medicine for sick or poor people.

He would also have been against affirmative action for obvious reasons.

He was also against abortions for Aryan women but for it for "lesser races".

Also, fascism as a whole (not just the Nazis, but Mussolini's Italy, etc.) rejects the idea of class warfare/struggle.

Today's Democratic Party is about as far away from Fascism as you can get.

  • Another interesting aspect of Fascism is that Fascist governments always need a somewhat vague "other" or "enemy" to rally the people against because people who feel they are being threatened will more easily fall in line with the government.

The Nazi's had the Jews, Italy had the Socialists, Spain had the Communists, etc.

I'm not going to stoop to your level and equate the Republican Party to fascists, but the parallels between that and their fascination with "terrorists" is interesting.

  • Its two sides of the same coin only difference is the means of achieving the goal. Both are totalitarian. Although some of the idiotic leaders of the republican party are pushing for more totalitarian type rule(all of which should be kicked out of the party on principle) the parties overall platform has always been more focused on more libertarian principles.

  • Socialism isn't totalitarian at all.

In brief, the reason why most communist countries were totalitarian was because socialism was supposed to occur naturally in industrialized, capitalist countries were the workers rise up and seize the means of production from the capitalists.

Most communist countries were not capitalist, or industrialized at the time and the thought was that an authoritarian leader could bootstrap an agrarian, feudalistic nation past the need for capitalism....

  • ...and directly into socialism or communism thereby bypassing the years and years it would take to achieve a thriving, industrialized, capitalist nation.

Socialized means "owned by a group of people". This can mean either running factories directly, or voting on the board that runs it, etc.

Nationalized means "owned by the government/nation". Note this doesn't specify which type of government. A fascist government could nationalize something and so could a democracy.

  • Nationalizing does not equal socializing. If an authoritarian dictatorship nationalized the steel industry, the dictator would be in control of the industry, not the workers.

A socialist nation could very well nationalize something, but the general populace of the country would need to retain some degree of control over the industry's operation by electing government officials that run it in the way the people desire, etc.

  • Finally, I would point out that nationalization isn't an automatic "bad word". There are many services that are much more efficient or consistent if the government runs them.

Case in point, building and maintaining roads, the army, fire and police departments, libraries, the post office, etc.

Take the post office example, for instance: the USPS offers far cheaper rates, and is usually a good deal faster and safer than private shippers. I've had problems with FedEX, but never the USPS.

  • Government jobs also offer better pay and better benefits than equivalent private sector jobs in many cases.

In closing, I just think it's silly to have the viewpoint that "Hitler throwing the jews into the ovens was an example of government control, therefor ALL government control is bad and should be railed against".

Hitler's rise to power was the culmination of a lot of different events that would be nigh impossible to recreate and is not just a cut and dry "big government = bad" example.

  • I have no problem with Libertarianism in general; who doesn't think people should have more rights and liberties?

My problem is that most libertarians I know love to trumpet liberty and rights, but refuse to do anything (be it expand government or spend money) to secure those rights.

Government expansion was needed to secure the freeing of the slaves, the right to vote for minorities and women, a safety net for the old and infirm, reasonable working conditons for workers, etc.

  • Your point is well taken but I still feel that socialism is only a couple regulations away from becoming a totalitarian system. Assuming our current government has our best interests in mind doesn't mean the next one will. You can sue or boycott a private industry, you can't sue or really fight the government once they make a law. Its a slippery slope when politicians who generally have no morality at all get something like health care. Also I've had much more problems with USPS stealing.

  • Well most of the things you mentioned that required government expansion would have happened sooner if it wasn't for the democrats.... Not going to say that the democratic party might not have changed with Theodore Roosevelt but they still do have a klansman in the senate. I personally see the welfare state as a new form of slavery designed to keep people down.

  • i don't think people should have more rights and liberties. they have way too much already.

  • @AwfulVision

Its very true that many people bind libertarian ideas to words and thoughts rather then planning and action.

  • Another thing is whats the fundamental difference between socializing a business and nationalizing it? Again I'm talking about the ends not the means at which they get to it.

  • For instance government giving you counsel on your living will and what treatment you can or cannot get based on lifestyle.

  • Just in case you were wondering, I'm objectively comparing things to Fascism. Not just using fascism as a synonym for "something bad that I don't agree with".

Also LOL at that little "death panels" jab you threw in there. God Bless our stupid, stupid, ignorant, stupid country.

  • lol that hair!!

  • I'm sorry that is all u see.
