  • Not a bad map at all. Actually it is a lot better than anything I could even do. I have problems even finishing any map that I make. Anyways, kudos!

  • This looks good so far. I like the small details you put in like the puddle's with the acid sludge. The atmosphere looks great though you could work a bit on the shading in the corridors at 0:50 with the red key card, e.g. the floor and walls should be brighter than the ceiling. From watching the video they seem to have the same shade value but that just might be because of the video quality.

    Keep it up.

  • Looks like a fun map ^^

    Though if it is for zdoom, maybe you should try adding a few zdoom features in like a few slopes or other fun stuff. Slopes can make wonderfull ceiling or floor structures when used correctly ^^ This however is just a suggestion.

    But overall, it is a nice map, hope to be seing the other maps ;)

    I see that you are gradualy becoming a decent mapper with this map, keep up the good work hehe ;)

  • @yugiboy85 I did think to use slopes, I just couldn't think of a placement to put them. If I can ever make maps half as good as you can I'll be happy!

    My maps aren't that good, I still need a lot to do in the gameplay department and also at least your maps are finished xD

    I always lack inspiration at the middle of the map so I end up giving up thought I'd like to release another map which would be finished.

    Anyways, don't worry, your maps will become better and better, I'm sure ^^

    And if you need any help regarding a few simple scripts or other stuff, feel free to ask me ;)

  • @yugiboy85 Enemy placement is a major factor in gameplay, so just think of some traps and stuff. Also, try to avoid long and boring battles with enemies.For example: Fighting off hordes of weak enemies with a rocket launcher is more fun than shooting 4 Barons of Hell with a shotgun.

  • Looks great dude, I still use those zombie deaths you made :P. I have yet to play any doom at all for a while, but I will once I get some time.

  • @madfinnishgamer38 I'll release it eventually, if I complete 10 maps I'll release it as that and get someone to make titles and stuff. Why would you want to record it though? I just played it..

  • Excellent, this map looks pretty enjoyable, architechture usage offers an excellent gameplay in my opinion, I'm actually working in a megawad for Doom II too, but after seeing this I can barely hope my maps be as good as this is.
