  • @BoyNamedSue4 jesus, how are still having this problem? just download ad-blocker for chrome? how hard can it be

  • @BoyNamedSue4 I only got a 15 sec ad

  • @MrRookie26 Same!

  • @BoyNamedSue4 I love it when people have no idea what an adblock is

  • I liked when the leafs scored on the Habs, and the sens player got sent through the glass :)

  • do i really have to whatch an add for an add

  • I wish this was on PC!!

    WTF EA??

  • @GtheMVP WTF Torrents?

Not saying its your fault or saying that I'm against downloading games, but thats the reason why many dev's don't bring out their game on the PC (atleast some of them do but console always gets the release first.

And yes I'm aware of the fact that piracy is happening on the consoles too.

  • @SiikCobra PC gaming is booming once again, thanks to services like Steam, even EA has their own distribution service called Origin now.

If the game is priced properly, not a shitty console port, and supported after releases, the PC market is huge, especially for a series like NHL, Maden etc

Piracy had been problematic because of high prices, and lack of availability, but piracy claims hold little merit with platforms like Steam, their Xmas slaes alone have me hooked!

  • @GtheMVP High prices don't mean anything if you can get something for free who cares? Most people will pirate because of it being free, they just don't care and want to steal.Sure maybe a little more people will buy but mostly people will still pirate. It wont be stopped unless they put a code on every little thing

  • @ChrisSousaPortugal89 Piracy can never be stopped, it's impossible. Stronger mearues only screw over legit customers, see Ubisoft and their DRM woes

There's a middle ground that will torrent, like myself, if no demo is available, reviews are limited, or prices are too high like they used to be, before digital distribution.

Any game I've ever torrented I think I've now purchased on Steam or Good Old games. There's no excuse for a popular game to not get proper PC support.

  • @GtheMVP People say that but who really knows. Sure maybe there are people who pirate then buy but theres still TONS of people who will only play for free and thats just the facts. Like I said, if you can get it for free people will get it. I also don't see how it will screw over legit customers, if you buy the game then theres no problem.

Gamers these days have this odd sense of entitlement and ya know greed and stealing from companies does not help gaming companies make more games

  • @ChrisSousaPortugal I'm all for some sort of copy protection, businesses should do whatever they feel is best for their product, let the market decide in the end.

I just think heavy anti piracy measures are stupid, like games that require a constant online connection for single player games, like Ubisoft does, or limiting game installs, or placing spyware like software on your machines. Pirates always get around that, affecting legit customers only.

    Steam = best DRM model

  • SECOND2

  • Wow, nice.
